- So I'll just say it how it is. Life is Strange came out of nowhere and has quickly become not only my favorite game of all time, but one of my favorite things of all time.
Never has any piece of media impacted me with such gravitas that this game has over the past few weeks. Like to the point where I didn't even want to get out of bed the day after I played it through a second time.
It's doing things to me man. Changing perspectives. Forcing me to lower my defenses. Evaluating myself from the inside out and creating a more empathetic, selfless, and loving image to strive towards. I'm genuinely shocked that this thing has existed for over two years and I never knew about it. I didn't beat this game. It beat me...and then some.

The thing I love about Max and Chloe’s Theme is just how ambiguously meaningful it is. While it is made for these two characters, I feel like on so many levels it speaks about everyone’s unique life journeys. It elicits so many different feelings that no one single word can describe it. It’s nostalgic, it’s reflective, adventurous, bonding, introspective, loving, caring, you can even here a small sense of mystery and strangeness in it. I guess that’s the perfect vibe for a game titled “Life is Strange” :P You captured this song’s magic flawlessly and with your own sonic style as well. Damn fine work, Trey! Looking forward to your next epic / heart-filled cover!
+DONTUSEHAXX First of all, thanks a ton man. Second, I completely agree. If there's one thing Life is Strange has taught me, it's that life exists in the moment. Not the past. Not the future. The present moment.
We can live in the past or fear the future; but time is just an infinite stream of present moments that ebbs and flows whether we like it or not. We can choose to either resist, or let go and embrace the love that surrounds us at any given moment.
That's what this theme means to me. It's so calming and genuinely uplifting. Like it's just wrapping you in this soft blanket of wisdom and saying "It's ok. Calm down. Everything is perfect." And you feel like a kid again. It's a beautiful, hopeful and true feeling that really makes you look at yourself and strive to be more like Max and Chloe. To truly embrace that unconditional love that transcends time and exists in every single moment.

Just finished playing and I still cannot understand why I completely missed this masterpiece when it came out back in 2015.

You can feel, with every note, how connected you are with this game and its story. You put all your emotion in this and reading your description, I can totally relate to how you felt after playing the game. I started the Life is Strange story not long after Ep. 1’s release, all thanks to an ad on Facebook. I am still captivated by Max & Chloe’s story. They came into my life at a very critical time in my late youth, and I agree with others here when I say that there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think about Max & Chloe. I can’t wait for the release of the Remastered LiS!!!

This game was more than just a simple game ; it made me feel things I've never felt before, and hearing you playing this guitar tribute made me remember about the old good times... thanks for that. This cover made me tear up, thank you. I played Life Is Strange for the first time on January 10th, 2021. As I sat there in my chair, curious and wide-eyed as the main menu theme kicked in... I knew this was going to be something special, something different. I played through the first episode and instantly fell in love. Max... walking down the corridors of Blackwell and tuning out the world... the characters... everything. After I finished episode 1, I immediately went back and bought the whole game. I followed Max on her journey, watching her spend one last special week with her best friend, Chloe, reconnecting and attempting to mend their wounds of the past, meanwhile figuring out the underlying mystery surrounding Rachel Amber, and Blackwell. Whenever Max & Chloe's theme kicks in, it's just... so emotional... so beautiful. The soundtrack really makes this game stand out. A few days later, when it was all said and done, I was sobbing at 2 am, alone, in the darkness of my room, watching the credits roll through blurry eyes. As I clicked back to the main menu, The Golden Hour started playing again, and it had acquired a WHOLE new meaning, a deeper and more emotional meaning. Then I went back and started listening to the instrumentals again. Max & Chloe is another theme that just, sticks out. This theme is the embodiment of hope, love, friendship... that things will be okay, that things will get better... This game taught me that... Life... is beautiful. This game might have some flaws... it may not be perfect... but it has touched me in a way NOTHING ever has before. I went in expecting this to just be a sweet simple game, but it was SO much more than that. It was a ride, it was an experience. I was so invested in the story. This is my favorite game. I love Life is Strange, and I promise, I won't let ever let myself forget about you.
I lost one the best friends i had cause Covid-19, and it was after play "life is strange". I felt like Max. This game impacted me deeply.

omg life is strange is definitely my favorite game after so many years and it will be till the end of my life. you played so beautifully that your music totally reminds me of all these touching scenes in the game. max and chloe are so wonderful characters that they still exist in my mind and become a part of myself after finishing the game, and their love for each other and how they care for other people in their life just inspires and changes me so much. Hearing you play this theme just brings back all these intense feelings i have for this game.
I only just now found this and it's absolutely wonderful. I have yet to personally play the beautiful game it came from, but I regularly listen to this theme. So glad to have come across your amazing rendition of it. I'll be listening to it a lot. :)
