I’m sure you know this being as faceted (and also wicked talented) as you are with music, but you know those songs that at the very first note they instantly surprise and amaze you? For the first time in a while, I felt my eyes open upon hearing that first piano note followed by those bassy strings. Maybe it was the slower vibrations in the strings, but I imagined it being the sound of the rain blanketing over Arcadia Bay as Max looks out at the swirling impending doom about to devour the past she had tried to hold onto. Even though the flow of the piece is based on Spanish Sahara, you’ve really made it something of your own. It both serves as a deeply dramatic homage to my favorite story-driven game of all time and also becomes something more, turning Life is Strange into my literal favorite anime :P Also, I can hear every bit of inspiration from your favorite artists / composers in this piece, like a Disneyland of cinema / gaming sound (Your Hiroyuki is showing :P) Great work as always Trey! Looking forward to what inspired / epic / dramatic compositions you create next!
DONTUSEHAXX Again, thanks a ton dude! That’s actually more or less what I envisioned when composing the intro. Just wanted to capture that emotional gut punch with those cellos and piano.
Yeah, that's how it would feel if this gentleman or Zimmer made music for Life is Strange. Hart breaking but also epic ending with some speech of Max about life during sacrifice Chloe ending.
it is... It's so wonderful and fascinating.... The melody made me shiver, and I even cried. I can't put into words how amazing it is, but there are scenes in my head from LIS (or a new script ) to this tune =)
This really needs more recognition. You are very talented. I would love to see a whole song in the atmosphere as it is in the beginning tho. It kind of loses it's vibe as it gets faster and less similar to the original imo. Great work dude!

Breathtaking, if the game was an action movie you could bet this would be used in the climax of it
The piano sounds are really powerful. I love how it builds up.
When one of the heavy piano notes at the beginning played, I felt my house shake at the same time

Sounds like a movie trailer. Bravo!
Do Obstacles by Syd Matters
That would’ve been sick if a lighthouse was near us at the beach at night on the Pacific Northwest trip. Would’ve looked so cool at night...
It feels like if Max and Chloe were boys
How can 2 people dislike this ?
