Thanking my dad for taking me to this game as a kid so I can see Jordan in person (Even if it was in his twilight). I'll never forget most of the crowd rooting and cheering for his Airness.
Wizards Jordan is so underrated, especially the first half of the 2001-02 season. You can see in this game he could still get out on the break and get to the rim
Well said. Before the injury, Jordan outperformed a number of the stars in that era. Pierce and Antoine Walker immediately come to mind. Mike still had throwback performances in 2003, but his body had little left.
Exactly MJ was still performing at high level with Washington, people have remember that the wizard were the 4th seed in the east b4 Jordan's injury,so if he hadn't got injured they make the playoffs, and experienced killer like MJ in the playoffs would have been scary.
It was the shot that gave the wizards the win isn't it?it was not a game winning shot at the buzzer like the ones he made in Cleveland and Phoenix as a Wizards player.

FACTS. Once he got in basketball shape, he was able to give us the last half year of his prime. He lost the fluidity and speed after his injury.
“Jordan has struggled to hit shots down the stretch”
I took that personally. - jordan
Sprewell was no slouch, either. Elite athlete.

Michael Jordan loved playing at Madison Square Garden
GOAT schooling young blood.
Bron would’ve passed to Caruso
2:49 Man that would of been a beauty if he made it. Sheesh, beautiful attempt though.
Michael Jordan, the ultimate.
What's up man. Can I get Wizards 2001-2003 games from you somehow?
A Kwame Brown fan? Now that's something,. I would have to digitize my VHS and sort them out. I'll see what I can do - thanks for watching.
@@archive23 Wow I never thought about that 🤔.
People who actually recording the games on their VHS and keeping them safe and secured. Fascinating.
Wish they’d quit being all weird and release that Wizards jersey already so I can buy it
I got 1
It's not a game winner though...

@@MJ23-KB24 It was 87-83, which means someone else made a shot after it. So by definition, it's not a game-winner.
@@AI913 I stand corrected then. Unlike fans of other players, I will admit when I’m wrong.
@@MJ23-KB24 Props to that.
@@AI913I was at that game. It was the game winner. The 86th and 87th Wizards points came from free throws when the Knicks had to intentionally foul.
