- In this video, I do a brief walkthrough of some of the modifications I have made to my Tracker Topper 1542 Jon Boat, to convert it to use as a capable bass boat.

Boat conversion is coming along nicely. I looked at those straps when I got my boat, but opt-in for a cheaper alternative with the buckle. When are we going out, on your boat or mine? 😀

hey man! love the build, I have a tracker 1236 of my own and i’m trying to draw some inspiration from various videos. I saw you used that marine foam deck adhesive thing. is seadeck the company that makes it? I found a few options online but not sure which one you used in particular. also, have you enjoyed it and has it held up well? thanks!
Hi! I have used non-seadek and seadek applications, they both work really well. One pro tip i learned, is that any exposed edges can be sealed with silicone if they look prone to lifting up etc. i took a friend fishing and his cigar burned holes into my new seadek, so watch out for that too. One good place to look is on the tiny boat nation online store. Its where i bought my marine grade wiring and bus bar and stuff. They wouldnt ship the foam decking to me for some reason so i went to amazon & it was a decent deal.

that is nice! I don't have a jon boat but sometimes I borrow one from a friend. can't do any real mods to it cause it's locked by the reservoir and can't even have a motor on it (water regulations). but man, if I had one, I would follow some of your mods.
