How to install leds into speedometer cluster!

  • In this video, I will show you how to swap out the Incandescent bulbs in your instrument cluster to ANY COLOR LED! this will work on any 98-2002 camaro or firebird v6 or v8

    From what you showed it looked like the needles work well. Do you have any problems with them dropping down when the cars off and not hitting the stopper

    I've owned Pontiacs all my life, but I drive a Toyota now 😒
    So I'm trying to do the entire car Pontiac orange, having a hard time finding LEDs that are the same color.
    Everything seems to be red or orange/yellowish. Not quite Pontiac orange.
    Anyways came here for ideas.

    I put blue LEDs in mine and idk why the numbers don't light up at all. Only the needles light up. But when I put the original bulb the numbers light up. What am I doing wrong?

      You might have some of the leds in the wrong way. The polarity is wrong basically.

      @@Yarikk734 no everything was done correctly. It ended being a dark red film I had to scrape off the entire dash. It all glows blue now :) looks great!

      @@robert_wolf6989 Damn, I heard they had a film on them. I suppose it is behind the actual gauge plate isnt it?
