My original bulbs were dull as hell, and you could barely tell how fast you were going at night because the speedometer's stock bulb barely illuminated the tip of the dial.
Threw all LEDs in there now and what a difference that made. However just so you know, you dont have to actually drop the lower dash. You can just pop out the plastic that covers the gauges after removing the top two screws and you'll have enough space to get the 7mm and the tabs that hold the other two components in place.

Ashtray Light: 161/194
Automatic Shifter Light: 73
Door Handle Bezel Lights: 74
Headlight Switch: CNW1-7219 (LEDs = PC118 or 3mm neo-wedge)
HVAC Lights: 37 (LEDs = T5 Wedge)
Gauge Cluster Backlight: 161
Gauge Cluster Icons (Camaro): 161
Gauge Cluster Icons (Firebird): PC74/161
Glove box light: 194/161
93-98 Map Lights(?): 214-2 (LEDs = 42mm festoon)
99-00 Map Lights: 212-2 (LEDs = 44mm rigid loop festoon)
01-02 Map Lights: 194 (LEDs = 194/906/921)
Rear Dome Light: 212-2 (LEDs = 44mm rigid loop festoon OR a 20-SMD LED panel plugged into the stock harness connector)
This is a list of all the interior lights from LS1 tech.The gauge cluster lights are all 161/194.
161 and 194 are the same but different wattages.I used 194 in all the gauge cluster lights.
For a nice fix for your scratched lens.... buy a cluster from a trans am they have a nice outline trim for the gauges built in. Looks great. 100 bucks ebay I got mine.
That's something I will have to look into.Also would like to do one of those white gauge overlays at some point.
If you do the white gauges with the ta lens and bezel I guarantee 💯 that it will be a focal point. Thanks for the link on the ground effects.

How do you change gear shifter light???
There are a couple of bolts under the console lid that need removed then the whole section below the shifter can be lifted and the light is connected under that section.

Yes they are 194.Just take your time and be gentle so as not to break anything.Fairly simple job.
Are those lights compatible with the trans am ?
Yes they will be the same on the Trans AM.

194 is the bulb number. And I got them from Amazon.
Did the dash come with the ss badge?

What bulbs are these i like the hint of blue them seem to have
They are 194 for the dash.They are white but the instrument cluster gives a hint of blue.The LEDS come in many different colours.The lights for the HVAC and the doors use a different bulb but I can't remember the size now but a google search will give you the size.
