@@connormeek12 You don't seem to have any idea how the connection are in this game. If you are the invader, you are connecting to a host. So if they are geographically far away from you, it's got nothing to do with how good their connection is, or bad, they have the offline host connection and you will suffer lag while they don't.
@@2inverse469the issue still stands, we need the multiplayer to be as smooth as possible. 3 out of 5 invasions i get “Disconnected from host” and the rest of the 2 invasions i have laggy opponents or teleport around the map

I came to pay respect to Arise. The Warhammer Terminator build is excellent. you don't expect such damage. my first blind playthrough was in the same setup, only the hammer was colossal. Gorgeous duels

This game has been hella divisive, people either absolutely love this game or absolutely hate this game. Personally I think a lot of hate this game has gotten boils down to 2 things. 1- The lack of polish. This game is deffinitely a gem, but it is so rough and in need of a lot of polishing (Performance, QoL, Netcode, Balance) 2 - This game is a soulslike, but people are trying to play it as if it is just dark souls. It is very different. *Attacks have lengthy animations and a lot of commitment. Recovery animations doesn't have near instant dodge cancels *JUST mashing R1 and R2 is very bad in this game. You want to mix up your attack chains by mixing in other attacks or swapping hands (one hand then two hand). The benefit is you can use quicker attacks to stagger then use heavier attacks for actual damage. Kicking is also great for finishing a chain safely by pushing someone away/staggering them *Blocking/parrying is a lot more viable in this game, but you want to mix it inbetween dodges. Only blocking will accumulate too much grey-HP meaning you will loose all that health with a single hit. There are as many fair criticisms with this game as there are unfair criticisms with this game.

I love this game. It’s unfair how much negativity there is about it. The value for money is amazing. You get a huge game world, two in fact, multiplayer pvp and pve , the graphics are sick and the combat satisfying. Everyone says lies of p is better but all you get is a single player game.
One thing i cant seem to find an answer on is, how do you know how much posture YOU have left in pvp or do you just kinda hope each time you get parried your not posture broken?

It doesnt make sense that the invaders posture meter is already at 1/4 of thr max when they come it. Hexworks needs to fix that ASAP since its an easy fix

I've got a lot of cos play toons in the work. Once I have my Lightreaper once through the game to test my theory's then I'll be doing a lot of multiplayer again. I cos play as the lightreaper, ruiner, and Bringer of Stillness though using despair boots on that one till I get the bone pants since the stillness outfits only 2 peices. I also have a toons using full despair welding 2 Fallen Lords Swords lol... Float like an umbral butterfly 😂
Game certainly looks interesting but is there a way to prevent the camera from looking straight down like that at a 90 degree angle when your lock on target gets too close? I'm just watching it and I can already tell that would annoy the fuck out of me if I were to buy this game.
Are you playing on PC Oro? If you are back up your saves because there's a bug with multiplayer where you can lose levels or gain them, the community thinks it's a scaling bug.
The pvp i know is meeting overleveled chars with endless elixir healing , spamming umbral or holy spells or crossbow. Doing maybe 10-50 dmg on hit to them. Thats the pvp i Know. Im glad i have the set and a few colors..
The only thing I dont see fair is you not being in Umbral for a fair duel. They gotta kill you twice for 9 hands, while you only need to kill them once.
Had a guy invade me right after the second lightreaper encounter in fitzroys canyon he spawned cast a holy aoe spell that 1 tapped me so it was at that point after dealing with all the previous bullshit then getting invaded for the first time in that playthru i Uninstalled and removed from my steam account and said ill go play lies of P again. 😂

The one time it worked.
On PC, go to settings and turn off crossplay (for now). This fixes the Disconnected issue when invading.
I love that you can buff special weapons in this game. Something I missed from ds2
Ds2 was amazing. Powerstance, the weapon buff you mentioned, heavy weapon actually feeling heavy etc

There's no level matchmaking in the game. Or either it's so wide that you can match with people 70+ levels under you.

I respecced in someone else's world and it leveled me up close to 100 times.
