Not just in the NFL, not American, but Australian so, even here with the Professional sports teams, the coaches will miss a lot of family time. Especially with the National Cricket team, they will be working with the team prior to the season start, through the season, then more often than not another period of several months overseas on an international tour. I believe one coach actually more or less got home to family on a Monday, after not seeing them in 4 months only to leave on a Friday for an 3 month International tour.

Sean Payton has ordered injury on NFL players and does not deserve to be in this league. What a horrible example we are setting to our young men and women. SMH. Kick him out!
The hours and lack of sleep is his choice, I seriously doubt the owner is demanding he sleep in his office. This is why Dick Vermeil left the Eagles due to burnout. If I was his sister and he missed my wedding because of his job as a football coach I would not speak to him again, Christ people in the military overseas can keep exceptions to attend family events. You’re not curing cancer Sean you’re a football coach, spending overnight in your office is not going to negate a pass interference penalty, go home and be with your family.

Paritosh Dayal He turned one of the 5 basement teams of the NFL into a perennial playoff contender and recruited the greatest QB in franchise history. And he has a winning record, 6-5, in the playoffs. Oh and he won a Super Bowl, and may very well be on his way to another one.

You can call facts "excuses" all you like. I don't know what you're on about with contracts. Where did contracts come up in this video? You're bashing on him like he stinks. He's the greatest offensive minded coach of this generation. He's not Bill Belichik, but he's consistently a top 5 coach in the league.
