- Scott Pelley goes to American Samoa to find out how a territory with a population less than the capacity of a pro-football stadium sends more players to the NFL than any similarly populated place in America.
I actually met this person and he is one hell of a human being, a role model and just the type of person who gives hope. New Orelans is such a beautiful city, go Saints
It is even more beautiful for those of us blessed enough to live here. We may not be a picturesque city like San Francisco or Sydney, Australia, or blessed with beautiful natural surroundings like Denver or Albuquerque and we may not have the culinary diversity that cities like Chicago or London have but unlike those other cities, we live in a culture. and the beauty of our city is not readily apparent to the visitors. But anyone who takes the time to seek out that beauty will fall in love with New Orleans the same way that Mark Twain, Tennessee Williams and William Faulkner did.
Who dat!
Bernard Ignatius Grayson New Orleans is one of the most culinary diverse cities in the world
@@georgfriedrichhandel4390 New Orleans is a beautiful city. Nola reminds me of an island. The way you all speak, your culture, food and music. Hopefully, the engineers fixed the levee issues. America without Louisiana would be very detrimental to U.S. ecomony.
Drew Brees is without a doubt the greatest quarterback ever and an even better person off the field
And the most mature too because he never has temper tantrums and conniption fits
Wow...could this man be any more perfect?... Totally in love with this guy.
Thank you Drew Brees.. 'Breesus' you helped us out so much.
I'm a Cowboys fan and I love Drew Brees!
Smart..
Brees is the walter payton, of this era. Hes humble and loved by everybody, saints fan here who dat
Ok, I was cheering for the Colts to win in Super Bowl 44 but I gotta say, if they had to lose, I'm glad they lost to the Saints. I think Drew Brees is one of the strongest men I have ever seen. He has such a kind, caring soul. He took the team & the city of New Orleans on his shoulders & made something amazing. I can really relate to him to on the relationship with his mom. I, too, have a complicated relationship with my parents & I know I can be a loving mom when I have children. God bless
sometimes when i have to make a choice, i ask myself "if i had to tell drew brees about my choice, would he be happy?" it makes me strive to be a better person
My God, I love Drew Brees so much. He inspires me to be a better human being. His soul is incredibly beautiful. I love him for loving my city and for taking care of it the way he has. My list of heroes is pretty short but Drew has earned a spot on that very exclusive list. Drew I love you and your beautiful family. Thank you for taking a chance on us.
Brees is my number 1 football player
I love this man!!!
Brittany Brees is out of this world beautiful. Drew is a lucky guy.

How can anyone not like Drew Brees?
If not they are Morons, So much better then Tom Brady! ❤❤❤❤Drew Brees ❤❤❤❤❤
class act. breath of fresh air man.
HE SHOULD BE THE FACE OF THE NFL,, enough with all the players getting arrested ,drugs, beatting there wives, drew your MVP
Breesus the assassin.
He’s the 🐐
One incredible person, great family!
💛 Thank You 4 so much, Đrew 🖤
Watching this interview again and remembering that Drew led his team to a Super Bowl victory (and I do not believe it's an exaggeration to say that he indeed single-handedly saved this franchise which was on the brink of leaving The Big Easy for San Antonio), I can't help but wonder whether the Chargers or the Dolphins now regret their decision not to keep and/or sign Drew Brees. Did they think while they were watching Super Bowl 44, "Shit, that could have been us"? When they consider that they had (or could have had) the league's best QB and let him go, I wonder if it just gnaws away at them.
The reverberations of his decision are still being felt in Tuscaloosa today. Nick Saban was the coach of the dolphins at the time, and he really wanted Brees to be his qb...would he still be coaching in the NFL had he landed Brees? I guess you can argue that Brees' decision to go to NOLA started the most dominate college football dynasty (ever)?
Maybe but they didnt have Sean Payton and everyone knows Drew and Sean go together like penut butter and jelly..
I think they would’ve under utilized him. Sean saw his potential.
@@blondie5835 If Drew played for those teams, then yes. But in hindsight, I'm sure the Chargers regret their decision to waive him.

A TRUE AMERICAN HERO.....SERVICE AND HARD WORK TO HIS FAMILY....TEAM.....COMMUNITY.....GO SAINTS!!!!
2:40 and yes he does, no other QB has this accuracy, sadly it is not all up to the QB he needs more WR
Brees was DEFINITELY chosen.
I am a new orleanian! I remember all the bag years all the good years, but when Drew Brees came along it was something totally different! I never seen anything like him, in the things he did for the City of New Orleans was tremendous! He's now retired and I miss him very much! I watch this with tears in my eyes because not only in my proud and happy of the Superbowl win but I am more moved by Drew Brees himself as an MVP quarterback!
Damn I love this man. Such a role model
This was a great feature.
I love Brees
Lord he is such a kick ass player and person. Best of luck Saints!!! Back to back baby!!! Who Dat?
Brees didn’t just save New Orleans... He saved Louisiana all of Louisiana!!!!!! We love Drew Brees
Is anyone else here after he retired? 10 years later 😂
He really is going to be our Mayor when he ready #whodat⚜️#Uncledrew
holy Shiout!!! what a STORY this is now!!!!
GO B+DREW BREES!
I love seeing him and his wife together
Drew is the best who dat
Robert 1738 Blanton let's be real here, knowing what we know about Brees now , if his throwing shoulder never fully rehabed he would have willed his body to become ambredexist and became just as good throwing with his left arm
One of my biggest role models I would have never gotten into football or step on a football field if it wasn't for Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints #WhoDat
thanks.
This video is still relevant today.
now,you know, after watching the entire video, that i have to gush about how handsome and sweet he seems. his wife and children are lucky.
shit we about to play them this sat. idk how we are going to beat this guy
New Orleans is a city worth saving
As a native Chargers fan... releasing this guy is just one of the many problems we have.
San Diego loves him too. What could have been. Sigh.
@jsibify He doesn't need to. He doesn't want New Orleans to be remembered as the place where the worst disaster happened. But rather as a city where they came back stronger.
I grew. Up. In. New Orleans. At old. Tulane. Stadium. With. Archie. Go. Saints.
Also Phillip Dorsett!
Drew Brees is the real deal. Scott Pelley, on the other hand, did a piece on deserting New Orleans less than 2 months after I got electeicity back after the storm. This video shows the best of America (Brees) and the worst (Pelley).
Drew Orleans LaBreesiana!!!! WHO DAT!!!! GEAUX SAINTS!!!!
Lesgo drew brees
why does the description talk about the american somoa football
@iAmReemo lmfaooooooooo good one
also,i keep hearing that he's too short for football at six feet? i think joe flacco is six feet five and a program i watched said he was too tall. what's the perfect height for a foot ball player?
No doubt he will be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2026 (prior to Super Bowl LX)
WHO DAT all day
Not sure if the Saints will ever find another Drew Brees…
Who Dat!
If I was him, I'd love missionary, too. Especially with her.
pause at 6:40 nice 60 minutes pendant! LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!
I feel sorry for the Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day this year...
What would Breesus do?
Who still watching when drew brees's ribs broke
I think flacco is actually 6-6
1 person is a Falcon fan
Oh damn, Krystal Hamburgers....
Besides a broken neck.. well the guy he just beat in the super bowl literally had a broken neck right after that.
he is definitely, from the outside looking in,a "different" kind of guy. like troy polamalu,he seems to have a good personality despite being in a sport dominated by rapists, batterers, and criminals.they seem like really cool guys.
@KWCline91 I'll be here all week, try the veal.
@RayWilliamJohansen No offense man, but I feel if Drew Brees were a 49er, he probably wouldn't have been better than Montana or Young
He hasn't done anything more than Peyton Manning.
Denis Hickey draft Jaelen Strong plzz! Drew Brees needs more wr help!
probably 6-2 or 6-3
Dont think you can find a better person......
@KWCline91 I think that I already explained it was a joke. I'm sorry you take every comment that you read on the internet so seriously.
drew brees is a good quater back but he will never catch brady 7 super bowls shall i go on .
I heard he was a dwarf...
