This is a no thrill what you see is what you get sailboat, is 3 hulls the magic number? we will let you decide if the NEEL 43 satisfies the multi-hull space for you.
Please could you find out if it could have a boom furling main. These Neels don't appear to have a back stay does that have any implications on loading the head sails. Also is it offshore rated?? Thanks 😀👍
sorry for taking so long I've been away sailing;) you can have a feeling boom as an aftermarket add-on, and yes there is a backstay it doubles up as the tender lift. It is offshore rated and there is talk that I might be able to join a transatlantic delivery sometime next year on a Neel, so if that happens we will find out what they're made of. I will video the passage for everyone. Thank you for watching and next week we have the Neel 47 video coming;)
@@geniexmay562 As a general rule catamarans and trimarans like this don't have backstays. this is because they are rigged slightly differently and the rigging is further aft giving support to the mast and forward sails as needed. If there are other Subscribers that are interested in this sort of subject I will speak with our friend at Neel and Seldon so we can make a video on rigging know-how and the why's. What do you think?
As the price goes for a brand new boat you are right, it is a lot of boat for the money. The NEEL 43 is stripped back no thrills what you see is what you get which is one of the things we like about it. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment;)
Great review and video. I understadn there is sotrage in front of the pntoons but can you access the body of teh pontoos as well?? And woudl you need to add a solar arch. Can or would you add a solar arch given teh need for the topping lift to puu the dinghy up? Thanks
Yes, there are a few customisations I would make so it would be more comfortable for family use and some of the sail handling systems just to make it easier for me to single-hand. It is one of those things though that I would live with the boat first before making any changes. Hope that helps but if you have any more questions ask away;)
I like idea of a trimaran, but Neel's Owner's Suite is such a Plain Jane sleeping area, it's a DEAL BREAKER for me. NO INTERIOR STYLING AT ALL in that boat, overall. No, go.
The Neel is not for everyone I like it because it is more about sailing and adventure than all the pretty but useless fancy decorations that most boats have nowadays to draw people in. Thank you for watching;)
ICH! Back out to a wider view so items are captured in context!!!!!! Terrible video. Zoom in on those things that need it but otherwise back out so we can see that of which you speak. You need some serious video training. Like the boat. Don't like the presentation.

@@SVTONICBoatWives Thanks for the reply. Does the topping lift and main sheet act as the back stay??

@@SVTONICBoatWives T would really appreciate an in depth look at the rigging. Thanks 😀

Been watching James on carry on sailing Neel 51 makes you think other than mooring spots.
i will go and have a look thanks for that;)
One hull, two hulls or three? when going from a mono to a cat would you look at a trimaran?

Nice, performance please...price range
Where is place for TV
Anywhere you want
Its interesting, but parts of it feel unfinished
That's one thing I liked about the Neel 43 plenty of scope to customize and add things in your own way.
@@SVTONICBoatWives good point, I hadn't thought of it that way
@@nohandle54 Looking around the boat is there anything you would want to change or add?

neels are junk. get an aventura 37 instead.
Have you been sailing on one would be interested in your understanding of how they handle it?
@@SVTONICBoatWives they sail well. build quality is better than neel.
@@ysesq How do they differ in price?
@@SVTONICBoatWives yachtworld has current pricing. basically same as a neel 43
why are they junk i have talked to a few owners they seem to love them just asking as im looking at getting a trimaran thanks on your input
