Brilliant product I just wish I had seen this video before applying as i have a bit of spotting I'll need to try sort now, very helpful info on how to sort it out
Wish I saw this before I used it yesterday. I was horrified that after spending 1.5 hours on the pre-wash and wash stages. I then used aquacoat and was left with the dullest looking paint I have ever seen. I have an Alfa Stelvio and I think due to the size of the car, I should have done half the car, rinsed, then gone to the other half followed by a full rinse to stop it from sitting too long. Luckily, I have built up enough layers of protection that a quick detailer managed to get rid of the nasty residue and brought the paint back to life. I was about to throw the bottle in the bin, but after seeing this, I will give it one final chance.
Great video, I'm about to use Aqua coat for the 1st time this weekend on our Vw camper, would you advise aqua coating it in stages or just go round it all as quickly as possible ? cheers
Does having the car waxed before applying the Aqua coat, affect the end result? Or for a better result it is recommended that you apply it in that manner? If it is applied that way is spotting a issue?
Might sound a bit if a stupid question but I applied aqua coat around 3 weeks ago.. is just a simple wash good enough to bring it back out or will the wash take of the aqua coat?
Was wondering what product you can use to take off this easily as it seems it’s that good it affects when you come to polish or paint correct it stops the abrasives from cutting
Good Afternoon. I just got a 2013 Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo from the main car dealer here in Northern Ireland and it has had GardX Protect Vehicle protection system done on it. Would like to know what AutoFinesse car polish could I use on the car.
If you don't wish to remove the existing protection you have had applied then opt for something with No cut, This, Radiance or one of our hard waxes will be fine.
I used this product and didn’t rinse off and dried it with a micro fibre towel. Should I rewash the car from scratch again as I have notice the product is still on the car
Yes you can, we wouldn't advise directly applying it to the brakes, but a slow run up and back down should clear any residue from steal brakes pretty quickly.
Friend bought this for me. It’s far too fussy quick this and quick this. Even one panel at a time how does that work when he says dry afterwards as it won’t stay dry as you move to the next panel. I have a tried and tested wash, light polish beginning of the year (March) then I add coats of my Harley wax over the next few washes. I de-tar and iron X my car once a year a the beginning. What this would do over they wax add more protection or simply waste my time? Hate wasting things, it’s savour might be used on my black alloys as spray on protection with an old MF cloth to dry.
Anyone here ever used this and wet coat by Gyeon? They are the same type of product. I’m sick of paying for the gyeon and if this is close to as good, I’m switching. You can get 5 liters of this for $56 usd and it is about $105 usd for 4 liters of the Wet coat. The gyeon is amazing but it is too much for what it is.
Excellent info there. Pleased to know it can be used on matte surfaces as my wife might be getting a Abarth 124 with matte boot lid and bonnet. I assume it's not suitable for a soft top..

Nice to meet you today Jamie, great set up and products!
Once again great help with another one of your products found this very helpful
Awesome product . I'm never without a bottle of aqua coat in my arsenal 😉👌

Can you do a video please where you use aqua coating aswell as a ceramic coating too
So does this mean that “Aqua Coat” is mainly meant to be used to help make the drying process quicker and easier? Not a major protective coating yes?
I don't have a jet wash currently. Will a garden hose do or do you need high pressure?
Nice video!
Spray on one panel at the time, or the whole side, or the whole car and then rinse off ?
Thanks
id suggest one panel at a time, otherwise a high risk of spotting
A well needed video. Two thumbs up
Thank you.
Does having the car waxed before applying the Aqua coat, affect the end result? Or for a better result it is recommended that you apply it in that manner? If it is applied that way is spotting a issue?
No is the short answer. Aqua coat would be used as a top up protection when you perform a maintenance wash. Hope this helps
Great Advice! This video was very helpful
Glad it was helpful!
Nice video Jamie, love aqua coat I've never had an issue I use it during the winter so sun and temperature aren't an issue 👍
Hi.. What do you find is the durability once applied?
@@Tank4sale I usually re apply once a month in the winter hope that helps 👍

It shouldn't do it might resist the first few passes of a set but after that, you should be through it.

Buenísimo tu producto !!
Me encantaría poder utilizarlo en mis vehículos
Buenísimo
Can you use this product as well as using a paste wax? A generally do a claybar and wax every 4-6 months.
I used this product and didn’t rinse off and dried it with a micro fibre towel. Should I rewash the car from scratch again as I have notice the product is still on the car
Hi all,
can i put this on after a polish with triple?
If i apply aquacoat and the car is dry can i then use Glisten ( spraywax ) to top it of ?
can you use this product on motorcycles. will it affect the disc brake perfomance. will it affect bare aluminium?
Yes you can, we wouldn't advise directly applying it to the brakes, but a slow run up and back down should clear any residue from steal brakes pretty quickly.
I wash my car at least once a week, how often would you apply aqua coat going off that wash cycle?
Every 8-12 weeks. Depends when you feel the protection needs topping back up.
AutoFinesse thanks, I wasn't sure about that either...
can you apply this by spraying onto a cloth and wiping on and buffing off instead of spraying and rising wet?
curlyj3sus no you can’t, it’s a water activated product!
Yes you can.
Can you use trim dressing after applying aqua coat ?

So does this help remove water spots?
I use it on the shower glass too 😀
how long does it lasts??
Can i use finale or Glisten after a dry the car? Thanks !
Yes you can. Finale is probably better for that particular job.
ill be honest, im still unsure as to why you need this product, surely applying wax will protect and deal with waterbeading aswell?
Mathewmartialart probably good for a wax topup between waxes. Either aqua coat/a spray wax/a quick detailer would be good for a topup
itzzaster You really think this would work over Wax?
can i use tripplle then aqua coat? or shall i use one of your hard waxes?
You can but a hard wax would be better. Then you can use aqua coat when you perform a maintenance wash. Hope this helps
Cant we just apply on cloth and apply onto vehicle. ?
Yes,you can. However,I would not recommend a dry towel. A wet cloth will do the trick.

Maalesef 😔
Amazing product i love it 🤓🤓
what does Aqua coat actually do?
I just got mine, but it looks green.

That plate is CASH

No give the soft top a miss with this particular product and opt for a dedicated soft top protector.
