I bought a pair and you can curve the microphone so it's closer to your mouth and it will sound better If they put full ear cups on it they would block more noise and be more comfortable

Bought a pair after my H800 stopped charging for the 400th time and really do enjoy these headsets. Glad you included the disclaimer about the music, tried playing my RUclips channel and it sounded awful with the playback. Thanks again for the video.
@@TechOutAdam Its worth noting there are two options for sound within Windows 1. Headphones (JLab Go Work Stereo) 2. Headset (JLab Go Work Hands-Free AG Audio) 1. Sounds fine with music 2. Sounds awful with music. You must select the correct playback device.

Once you get a headset for calls it’s so hard not to use it. Even when I talk with friends and family I use a headset. People like talking to me more too because they hear me so clearly.
well..after three months i used them and they worked perfectly for calls and without the app for calls, for music , very well. But then they got broken suddenly two days ago. I bought a different pair which now i am using. I decided to do that because they offered everything i need for that priece point and they sound good and they have that mute button which i really needed. I saw different options but all of them offered not the same thing while working on Windows... The other options were Plantronics, Logitech and they are far more expensive .. Thanks again
I bought these for WFH. I’ve had them for about 3 months. I call people for my job and then people on the other end had a lot of issues hearing me. Seemed to echo, exc. no idea what went on with it. Sent back.
Word of warning, bough one and was very satisfied for a while, but it started dropping the mic from teams on my work laptop and a little short after it started doing the same on both my desktop and cell phone too. It is some sort of software issue, as it randomly disconnects the mic from time to time and you have to turn the headset off and on again for the mic to work... The amazon reviews are full of similar cases, your mileage may vary, but I would steer away from it.

i picked theses ones for call s specifically and i do work for about 8 hours but not a back to back calls at all .... Jabra, Plantronics and Logitech bt headsets are really expensive options . fFor Music i would go for wired or true wirelss like Sony, Senheiser, and so on.Thanks for your review
Hey Gabriel thanks for the comment and feedback. Yes that's the biggest flaw of any "professional" headset is the music quality. It won't compete to the bigger companies focused on that.

I already desactivated Dolby or any sound improvement on my windows pc..sometimes it is fixed. That sound issue is shown sometimes using bluetooth but it is fixed doing that set up ...Wires fixed everything but i cannot find the right point to not allow this to happen Would yoy really know how to ?
Just got these as internal mic in laptop is awful, even 3-4K laptops have awful mics. People in teams calls have said I sound clear. Within sound settings in Teams and for audio output for the laptop you should see two settings for the headset, something like stereo and hands free. I had to change Teams to use hands free as the output or I couldn’t hear anyone. For music I set the laptop sound setting to stereo or the music quality was bad. After around 2-3 hours I did find I needed a short break but overall comfort is fine. I didn’t read the instructions so thanks for mentioning the triple click feature! Will try that out tomorrow

Im very happy with them, except for one thing - Did you know you can´t use them for something as simple as recording a video outdoors straight from your phone camera ? It wont pick up the Jlabs sound, your phone will keep using the phone mic
It's VERY frustrating how smartphones do not let you choose the inputted microphone like you can do for a computer. An input/output selection cannot be that difficult. Can you imagine how many videos you can make if they allowed that? In my opinion I'd be making video calls/content in all kinds of environments.
I think the sound through the headset mic was soooo low it might not be effective. Otherwise it seemed good and I kind of thought I might go for these but after hearing that low, low output, I think not. Thank you for the review.
You must get a headset that sounds good for you even if it costs a little more money. Budget headsets are great for casual us but if you need a professional headset for multiple environments and loud noises there’s other options. Thanks for this feedback!

I would definitely go wired so your not worried about battery life or latency if you're on the phone that long. Especially, with great noise cancelling I'd recommend the Jabra Evolve2 30 as it's less than $90 and that headset was incredible to wear for a long time if you get it mono. Even if you get it in stereo it's comfy but when I'm on the phone all day I love switching ears. lol
Hello Adam. Just watched this review of the GoWork. Is it my computer or did the volume go very low when you were at the "coffee shop" and during the blender trail? I bought this for phone conversations and need parents to be able to hear me clearly.
Great question, when I edit my videos I make sure the volume level is the same throughout without trying to edit things to sound better. So while I'm talking about a camera that volume stays the same as the mic test volume in terms of where it was when recorded. The mic test you heard is as close as possible to exactly what someone will hear. Phone calls are always going to sound better than a voice recording though. I think I'm going to have to call myself and actually record the call, it'll be the most accurate mic test to do 👍
How does the red indicator light work? Is it on while you speak? I'm tempted to get these, but I can't use anything that has flashing light or LED, or whatever.
This was a great headset for 2 days and now im hearing squeaks .I tried re connecting and same . I email support and try and add a review on their site about this issue and they keep deleting it

Unfortunately not, best thing to do is connect them via the 3.5mm jack because that does give you great access to the microphone. It sounds really good that way. Otherwise, I'd say maybe getting a bluetooth adapter. That might help as well. What kind of computer do you use?
@@TechOutAdam I have a Laptop HP - 2000 Windows 10. I am having the same problem (unable to pair my JLab - Gowork headset). After going though the process, the JLab driver was not there. Is my laptop too old and do I need to download a driver windows, JLab dont have drivers. Was able to pair it with my iphone. Update - @Adam Macias - I found out my laptop is not bluetooth compatible, I will need a bluetooth adapter or install drivers. I know my laptop is a little old, so the safe approach is an adapter.

Your microphone test should be totally re-done!. You left the boom arm straight so the mic sounds tiny and distant. It is designed to be curved so that it matches the curve of the headband. It will then sit closer to your mouth and sound MUCH better than your demonstration.
Great feedback here! Actually, in my Jabra Evolve 65 vs. I did with this headset it performed just as well. So, despite my lack of full functionality it still performs like a beast!
Had High hopes for these. Sound and mic were decent. About Xbox turtle beach level. It definitely works for work and some gaming. Esecially neat since it can connect to 2 different devices so do not need to disconnect and reconnect. Battery life is Amazing! connectivity is clean, easy and well handled even with two devices active. Good distance. Housing is Absolutely Trash. The mic arm breaks from everyday use. Can be glued back but its a pain. Worse the headset feel off my desk 1 meter drop, about 3 ft, onto carpet and BOTH speakers snapped off the headset and were dangling by the internal wiring. If the plastic were higher grade these would be perfect but as is I cannot recommend for anything other than a weekend of use. Better off getting a 2nd hand gaming headset from goodwill. =\

My favorite wireless headsets that are that good at noise cancelling will be the Jabra Evolve2 65, Logitech Zone Wireless or even the BlueParrott headsets.
Any ideas for one that is one sided only? I'm expecting this job to last about 3 months so I don't want to spend too much and want to hear what is going on around me. Ty
I like it a lot for the price but for sure if you want the best there is you will have to spend a bit of money. For example, my favorite sounding headset for how strong the mic quality is are the Evolve2 series. Especially the Jabra Evolve2 65. I've gotten the most compliments from people mentioning at random I sound so clear with that headset. Can't wait to review the Evolve2 75!
I'm not allowed to use a wireless headset for work (no clue why) I work remote and just purchased this to give me the ability to walk around my house while taking calls😅

No USB Bluetooth dongle but you can connect with the cable it came with on your computer. Then go to sound setting and make sure the headset is both the input/output device!
Logitech just came out with a headset that may be right for you. I found it on Best Buy randomly. It's the Logitech - Zone Vibe 125. It's not even on their website at Logitech which is weird but it looks awesome.
Yes wired headsets always have better noise canceling for the microphone and a stronger microphone input then Bluetooth ones for sure. Also there’s way less latency.

I do not like this headset. The reason being is that I cannot truly disconnect the Bluetooth of this headset from my iPhone. If the Bluetooth connection is not on, I cannot answer the phone. It will not let it ring past the first ring. I cannot hear the person trying to talk to me or me talk to them. I cannot use speakerphone or regular voice anymore because this headset has taken control of my phone call functions. So, until I figure out how to truly disconnect the Bluetooth from this JLab headset from my iPhone and relinquish control of all the functions, I absolutely do not recommend buying it.😠

Just got these, I found changing the output on the laptop from hands free to stereo made a huge difference to music quality.

What ended up happening with the broken pair? Were you able to get a replacement from JLab?

I found out that sound changes for worse by using a cloud service for calls.

Mine broke just above the swivel joint on the side with the mic. Saw other people have had the same issue.

The headset sounds great on certain devices. What it doesn't perform is on a Digium phone.

Have you compared this to other budget bluetooth headsets such as JLab Play/Play Pro, COOSII P80C or Avantree Aria?
No I haven't, this is the cheapest bluetooth headset I have now that I think about it lol

You double tap the power on/off button while on a call and sidetone will be enabled/disable. For the price of this headset, it performs very well.

A baby would come through maybe 50% in volume if they're right next to you, but a vacuum not that much at all.

Will this headset work with voice over internet phone system (Vici)
I used it for CallRail as well as Google Voice which are both softphone/voip and the biggest factor is your computer having bluetooth, it works great.
Your microphone test should be totally re-done!. You left the boom arm straight so the mic sounds tiny and distant. It is designed to be curved so that it matches the curve of the headband. It will then sit closer to your mouth and sound MUCH better than your demonstration.
Great feedback here! Actually, in my Jabra Evolve 65 vs. I did with this headset it performed just as well. So, despite my lack of full functionality it still performs like a beast!

Had High hopes for these. Sound and mic were decent. About Xbox turtle beach level. It definitely works for work and some gaming. Esecially neat since it can connect to 2 different devices so do not need to disconnect and reconnect. Battery life is Amazing! connectivity is clean, easy and well handled even with two devices active. Good distance. Housing is Absolutely Trash. The mic arm breaks from everyday use. Can be glued back but its a pain. Worse the headset feel off my desk 1 meter drop, about 3 ft, onto carpet and BOTH speakers snapped off the headset and were dangling by the internal wiring. If the plastic were higher grade these would be perfect but as is I cannot recommend for anything other than a weekend of use. Better off getting a 2nd hand gaming headset from goodwill. =\

I have this set and I love it for the $$. It sometimes is too loose so when I'm cleaning and know I need to bend a lot, I clip it on with my hair clip. 😆

So the noise cancelation isn't strong...I'm trying to find one that if you run a blender we won't hear it.
My favorite wireless headsets that are that good at noise cancelling will be the Jabra Evolve2 65, Logitech Zone Wireless or even the BlueParrott headsets.
You have missed the main feature which is - the mic stick bend or not you should have mentioned this.

I like it a lot for the price but for sure if you want the best there is you will have to spend a bit of money. For example, my favorite sounding headset for how strong the mic quality is are the Evolve2 series. Especially the Jabra Evolve2 65. I've gotten the most compliments from people mentioning at random I sound so clear with that headset. Can't wait to review the Evolve2 75!

Great question! The side of the headset where the boom arm is, the center button on the ear cup mutes the mic.

Does it have a Bluetooth dongle? My work from home pc requires my headset be used through usb connection.
No USB Bluetooth dongle but you can connect with the cable it came with on your computer. Then go to sound setting and make sure the headset is both the input/output device!
This is broken very easily with in 6 months. Also it automatically disconnects very frequently. Very bad headset

Logitech just came out with a headset that may be right for you. I found it on Best Buy randomly. It's the Logitech - Zone Vibe 125. It's not even on their website at Logitech which is weird but it looks awesome.

Yes wired headsets always have better noise canceling for the microphone and a stronger microphone input then Bluetooth ones for sure. Also there’s way less latency.

I do not like this headset. The reason being is that I cannot truly disconnect the Bluetooth of this headset from my iPhone. If the Bluetooth connection is not on, I cannot answer the phone. It will not let it ring past the first ring. I cannot hear the person trying to talk to me or me talk to them. I cannot use speakerphone or regular voice anymore because this headset has taken control of my phone call functions. So, until I figure out how to truly disconnect the Bluetooth from this JLab headset from my iPhone and relinquish control of all the functions, I absolutely do not recommend buying it.😠
