For noise canceling: yealink on all scenarios. For sound quality and by sound quality I mean bassy and almost condenser mic output, it would be orosound. Just that it picked up the fan/wind noise a lot. I'm not sure what happened but the Jabra E275 for me became the 3rd and last in this comparison. It picked up office noise, dogs barking and slightly on wind noise. Could be the latest firmware 1.7.4? I have one and just updated 2 weeks ago and I noticed some degradation in mic and noise canceling capability.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! We're not engineers, but from what we're told mic noise cancellation is tricky because the more noise cancellation, the less quality of sound the mic becomes. So, there's a fine balance between mic noise cancellation and mic sound quality that is put into consideration with the engineers.
We use the Orosound Tilde Pro working from home, and from this demo, it appears that others may be slightly better… but it’s still WAY better than other options that we’re trying.
Just returned a pair of Jabra Evolve2 75 , basically it's just very good at cancelling noise arround you in calls , comfort is non existent , couldn't even wear them for 2 hours straight without my ears hurting like hell , audio quality is more or less non existent . ANC is ok . Very dissapointing headset for it's price . Looking for a XM4 or XM5 to test out .
Sorry to hear the Evolve2 75 didn't work for you, may be woth looking at the headset here as well headsetadvisor.com/products/orosound-tilde-pro-premium-bluetooth-headset-with-anc-and-excellent-noise-cancelling-microphone
@@HeadsetAdvisor I've had Jabra Evolve 75 for the last year and a half making calls working from home. They've not been the most comfortable, but have worked well for delivering a powerful microphone presence. I recently upgraded from a Lenovo Thinkpad to a MacBook Air and my functionality has gone through the floor. My Jabra is automatically adjusting it's input volume while I'm on calls down to almost silent and then MacBook Air is muting it. Have you heard of these compatibility issues / know of a fix? It seems to be falsely detecting to high of an input from my microphone and voice level then auto correcting down to muting.
@@HeadsetAdvisor I have to attend close to 6 to 7 hours of meetings on MS Teams or Cisco WebEx, so I need a headset which can offer comfort, a clear voice, etc. Can you please recommend one?
I'd buy one now but my polt.focus two stopped sending audio to one ear. I'm a musician, who has gear decades old that doesn't break. Why are these all built to fail in one year? I want a musician built broadcast headset with the nice Bluetooth options + dongle 1/4" / 1/8" compatible wired, mute, anc and a dock that let's me walk 500 ft. Lmk
Not sure there's any that fits your exact needs but sounds like the Tilde Pro could check most boxes for you. No headset we're aware of is going to give you 500ft of range though. headsetadvisor.com/products/orosound-tilde-pro-bluetooth-noisecancelling-headset?_pos=1&_psq=tilde+pro&_ss=e&_v=1.0&variant=40450096857246
Hi Tonya, there’s no perfect headsets and they all have different pros and cons. That being said, based on what you said, the model at the link below is what many other customers are ordering ruclips.net/video/2y5tTOAzmUI/видео.html
Hello headset geeks. I am looking for a headset for my mom. It is my moms birthday in 3 weeks, and she needs a good headset for work with a great microphone so she will sound perfect and comfort when wearing it while at home and noise cancellation because I get loud sometimes when she is working. Me and my dad have set a budget of $275 to use Because there are a lot of high quality headsets for below that price. We don't know which one because there are so many. Any Suggestions.
Hi Harvey, it should be okay if you get the single ear version. The B450-XT would probably be a better way to go ruclips.net/video/rA9grjMxMCI/видео.html
Hi Liz, If you use Microsoft Teams often then go with the Teams version. If you don't use it or not often then go with the UC version. The Teams version always tries to open Teams first so UC is better if not using Teams often.
I purchased the Yeahlink WH67 and then battery died after 2 years and warranty period was over. Very disappointing. Support was not good - very difficult to contact their team in China. I was happy with the headset until the battery started dying after 15 minutes and no way to replace it.
Agreed, that is one downside of the WH67. And for tech support, we always recommend ordering from a local authorized reseller for Yealink so you get a better level of service. We're double checking with Yealink to see if they will be offering a replacement microphone you can order at a significant discount vs buying a whole new unit.
@@HeadsetAdvisor - I appreciate any assistance as I believe I ordered through your site as a recommendation, but I didn’t keep the receipt. I’ve recommended this headset and like it but it turns out it has a hardware issue and the battery cannot be replaced. It only keeps charge for 10-15 minutes before dying. Thanks again.
Jabra, hands down..simple and great review as usual Just got my Jabra Evolve2 85 at a very discounted price..gonna hold on to it..maybe will try to get the Evolve3 series in the future 😅
Your best bet is getting noise canceling software like neep.com. Otherwise, the best we've tested in a case like yours is the Epos Impact 1000 or Orosound Tilde Evo.
Jabra 75 microphone is so poor. Looking for an upgrade for this reason. Came to this video for advice and been told Jabra is the best LOL. No, thank you
I hear you Ratel. Just returned my 75 for that reason plus fade out as if there was no activity and it was trying to save battery. Lots of internet comments saying the same by other users. I wish it worked because I like the fit and weight. I came here looking for a replacement
Perhaps the 75's mic was improved via firmware update? See my experience below. i haven't tested any professional call headsets before - my point of reference is earbuds (Bose QuietComfort Earbuds) and music headphones like Sony Wx1000XM4. I bought the evolve2 75 few weeks ago, based on checking with people in my calls they said i sound great. I even had a call outside in a windy open space while taking a walk the other day and they could barely hear any wind. And when at home in a quiet environment they said my voice sounded clear. I've also recorded my voice (with android over BT and with PC using USB dongle, and in both cases voice sounded good)
@@HeadsetAdvisorI have an oldschool wired Audio Technica headset, which has a very good microphone, but it's heavy, wired and I also need an extra device to use it on my pc (some random audio interface with xlr in). I want a light alternative, so I don't have to carry around so much stuff :). I haven't found a bt headset that has an acceptable microphone. Even the built-in microphone of my notebook is better sounding. I believe bt is the problem, because even the most expensive ones sound bad. Are there professional headsets with their own receiver that isn't bt? That's the reason I found your channel :). Regards, Andreas
