Would love to share an idea which I've been using for my kids, I created an email id for both my kids and send the photos and achievements that they received from the school to that mail so when they grow up every memory is there for them without cluttering the space in our home, later on they can decide what to keep and discard. I also have a memory binder where I store some of the physical art work that they bring home.

All the materials used in the video and suggestions are amazing and you also catered to all the audiences: those who love to make a DIY solution and those who would like to buy stuff from stores like Amazon or IKEA due to time deficit.
