thank you, this is the simplest video. specific and clear explanation, can't go wrong with it,
Thanks for watching, definitely trying to help to make it easier for everyone.
This is an excellent video. It’s so simple and easy, compared to “tricks” using pennies, etc. Good job!
Thanks Ohio Redneck!! I thought it was pretty easy and didn’t see the benefits of the “tricks”
Thank you! Tons of videos on the jiffy stand that uses a bolt on system, but this is the only video I've seen which uses a clip to hold the jiffy stand, which is like my 2017 Heritage jiffy stand.
Glad to help! Thanks for watching!
Finally the video I needed to properly install my jiffy stand . Even though my bike is a softail heritage 07. Same setup..
Thanks
You’re welcome, glad I could help out!
Good video. Actually focused on the area and detailed. Thanks!
Thanks JoJockAmo! I’m just doing my part to help others.
This is the best video on this and I’ve watched several others!
Subscribed ✌️😎✌️
Thanks sporty04! I watched others as well and I had to show the way I do it. So much easier.
Great easy to follow video, very helpful
Glad it helped you out! Thanks for watching!
Another great video!
Thanks Vito!! Just trying to help out the motorcycle community!
You save mi life, gracias amigo
Glad I could help!! Thanks Axel Plaza!
Hey man thanks for the video. Could you do a video talking about your crash bar in front.
I sure can what would you like to know about the crash bar?
@@DoubleDMoto thank you for the response. I was interested in the weight, I heard the more expensive bung king is really heavy. A possible link where you bought yours. How was the install process, did you have any challenges? Lastly, quality: is an strong alloy, will it take the impact of a fall? Thanks again.
Why they used brass bushings I'll never know. Use the Chevy Truck bushing kit 38400. bronze/steel. lasts much longer. You should only have to slightly drill out center of new bushing and its way cheaper... thanks for vid
Thanks for sharing Shane W I will definitely look into those bushings!
ive had no problem swapping my jiffy stand multiple times... But the rubber stopper closest to the front popped out when i replaced my kickstand... Whats the best way to be able to insert it back where it goes and what posistion does it belong? Thanks!
Hey Rob! I have never messed with that before but I will have look into it to see. Sorry I was not much help.
My jiffy stand retracts automatically and won't stay down unless the weight of the bike is on it. Several people have almost dropped the bike as a result of thinking it was down and having it shoot right back. Any advice on how to get it to lock when it's down?
I have not run into this issue, but I would first check that the bushing are not crushed or damaged. Also spring could worn out. Hope this can help.
Don't know why some Harleys have kickstand spring issues and some don't either the likck deans is bent or the mounting most hole is sloped out
Luck of the draw I guess. Only issue I’ve had is when I ripped spring off going up a curb messing around. It was a little costly.
My kickstand is loose where that pin goes but I don’t see no where to tighten it what could be the problem?
The only thing I can say, is the bushings or the spring may be worn out. There is really no way to tighten it. Sorry not much help.
Cool video. I own a '96 Sportster 883 Hugger and was hoping to see (or figure out) if one of the newer models jiffy stands could work on it. Any ideas anyone?
I definitely would have to look at one to see, but more than likely not.
@@DoubleDMoto cool! Thank you sir!
It's a goofy thing to me u shallot have to touch the kick stand .normally ever I'm hereing the stupid
spring is the issue it seems to be not holding its tension then.its to slopy and falls off.. thats.a issue for me issue
I have seen that with a few friends motorcycles. Kind of a pain to ride with stand flapping around. Not the best idea.
Where is the after photo?
It is there.
@@DoubleDMoto oh! It was immediately after…I was waiting until the end and was wondering 😅
@@danieleder4863 I had to go back and look to make sure it was there. It definitely made a difference.
I realy think there just weak or shitty springs
I second crappy springs.
