With the territory at risk of being sold for copper mining to a subsidiary of Rio Tinto, resident Wendsler Nosie has set up a protest movement from his tipi, alongside his daughter and granddaughter. With no support from the courts, Wendsler and the community are anxiously hoping the Biden administration will pause the land transfer. With religious freedom and environmental protection at risk, they await the call with further news

Me tuning in: "Hey, isn't this like in Australia where a mining company blew up a famous prehistoric, indigenous sit-"
[0:44 - the name Rio Tinto shows up]
    "...yep, thought so."

I would argue that it makes it twice as important to save...natural spaces are dwindling, so yes save their land from any development. Positive vibes from New Hampshire and remember to be kind to each other and yourself during this pandemic and social crisis

says the guy on the computer that requires copper for electricity ...... it's like everyone thinks all these resources jusy fall in our lap from heaven ..... You want copper ??? Gonna have to mine it , you want oil ??? Gonna have to drill for it ..... If not , give up all your comforts these resources provide ...... Be a REAL "environmentalist" , stop using the products , go back to the stone age
