Other reactions were expecting more soloing from Tina, but I agree with you that this is her band and she doesn't need to be the center of attention. This was an introductory video of her new band.

AGREED about being in a band! This song is soooo layered with Tina's guitar skills but underneath the singers voice in a completely complimentary way. As an intro song, it rocks nicely. GLAD to see/hear Tina S back rocking her guitar wizardry! That tattoo on Tina's right hand says it all for me - lightening in human form! Cheers...
So great to see that she is still performing! Hope we hear some solos on the upcoming EP.
As a studio cut it gave her the opportunity of adding several layers to the guitar revealing a mixture of complicated riffs and fills being played together. I like it. I like it a lot! Well played and well mixed. Better than my early s**t. The bass was added later and she was the rest of the music. I'm quite exited.
After 7 years she has a super strong support by fan that was waiting for her every year I am really glad she is back with a group and not as solist, she can really express her soul by music and lyrics and be free to not be just a super virtuoso but a real artist. Thank you for the reactions !!

I think she plays just right for what the son g is. Sounds awesome. A lot of people will put her down for not going balls out soloing. Things change in a band there are more people and they all need to shine together. Well done Tina S.

Tina is interesting, first of all, with her virtuoso playing! We have always heard her solo. She has always been the central figure. Playing in a group is, for her, the second plan. She will have to find a position for herself.
In my opinion, if she plays in a band, then in a band like Pink Floyd, where there are long solo guitar parts.
Somewhere I came across her interview. She talked about plans to open her own studio after graduation.
Totally agree: she's back, she's ok, thus I was happy already. First time with original music (if I am not mistaken), and as the debut single of a new band not bad at at all.
This is also a difficult situation for her, she plays too much in the foreground , the boys become the dustbag. Without her, the boys would not have become so famous now and they all know that, including Tina. Is a lot of pressure on Tina now yes, because many expect a continuation of 7 years ago. I agree. I saw some people reviewing the video and were expecting Tina to do a crazy solo. Nope. I suspect this was a decision to make her an equal member of the band. It wouldn't hurt to have a song with a great solo in it .. but that shouldn't be done unless the song needs it. The single Gravity from the EP has a short solo that is pretty sweet.
I can see that Tina is enjoying the music she makes, just look at how she moves her body with the beat, that's all I want from this talented guitarist.
The song is great. Ive listened to it a couple of times. Vocals are good, same with the drums and Tina, well she is awesome. I look forward to more from this band ❤

The problem with critics is Tina is a thoroughbred and they were expecting beast mode out of the gate. Give her time. Personally I would like to see a collaboration with Charles Berthoud on bass, Floor, and former Nightwish drummer Jukka Nevalainen.

I have listened to it several times and I like it more and more...I cry to see Tina playing and the sound and the music remind me of Linking Park...I like it...The important thing...she has returned...may she continue to recover and give us magical days..

Yeah, the first shock for me was to see a male singer, while i either expected it to be just an instrumental band, or else maybe a female singer and something thats more like symphonic metal or maybe Lovebites.
In the end the only thing thats really nice is, that she in the background produces a very full sound while there are just drums and her guitar, guess thats maybe more than we really realize on the first view.
Still .. i really wanted to hear some crazy guitar solos and not that.
I am glad she is back! From now on the band is the star and not a single member. Excited about the things to come! I heard the other two songs on Spotify. They are awesome, too!

This is a band not a young girl practicing her technique by doing shredding covers. Personally, I think it's a good start, not overly impressed with the singer but overall good job.
Did anyone else see her right hand? Is that some odd tattoo on it? or is that severe burn damage on her skin that has healed and had skin grafts? Just thinking out loud and asking.......

Glad shes back. Clearly not what i or probably many others expected. Why the first song with essentially no real solo? Singer is too up front in the mix. Tina is too far back and the several layers of guitar are mushed. Honestly i expected a higher level from her. Tina you just broke the hearts of many fans.

@@MountainMetal you are hearing a different song. Yeah the structure is something thats been done before but that also makes it more accessible right away. The guitar layering etc is definitely VERY far away from being generic. The guitar work is still really great. Its just more in the background. Which is the exact thing a song like this needs. A song like this with really up front attention grabbing guitars would suck
Not the Tina S we would have hoped for....another decent rock song, nothing special though...rather disappointing. Hope she gets creative at some point, nice to see her back.
Aren’t you a bit “ want all and want it now “ ? It’s not coping any other artists song anymore. You should be glad that we hear about her again. Her first single and the attention she got speaks volume. And is not just a decent rock song, it’s a brilliant hard rock song which shouldn’t be ten or more minute long where the lyrics got boring and repeating sentences over and over. Me personally heard famous and so called big bands in my long life, but never heard such tight music playing from anybody. And please keep your decent comments out of here, we can tear you apart if we wanted, and this should be just a warning!

@@metalpuppet5798 what happened if Steve Vai, Satriani, Yngwie, and others best guitarist say that, they give life to playing and making music, Tina should play her own instrumental staff, she should compose instrumental not covers best guitarist , Stiv Vai play 50.years and still practice and learning new staff, Tina is unique but her music is not, it's just one more band in a sea of bed music, for me that bed music
@@ivanveljkovic6242 her music absolutely is unique. Steve Vai etc decided to stay with the technical side of guitar playing. But just because you started that way does NOT mean you have to keep going like that. You should ALWAYS make the music you want to make at the moment. And in Tinas case that was something more simple and less guitar centric.
