But, I would add a few things: If you start this quest before completing the Tomb of Raithwall, Dantro's Wife will jump straight to asking for the Seaclam Shells and the Nebralim Vials. The events with the cactoid family and Dantro's Wife asking for the Valeblossom Dew will only happen after the events at the Tomb. Also, if you don't have the Great Serpentskin BEFORE giving Dantro's Wife the Valeblossom Dew, she won't ask for it and you will lose the best reward for the quest. So, the best way to do this quest is like this: 1. Complete the events at the Tomb of Raithwall. 2. Do the hunt for the Niddhog in Bhujerba and don't sell the Great Serpentskin. 3. Do the Flowering Cactoid Hunt to get the Cactus Flower. 4. Speak with Dantro to report the hunt. 5. Deliver the Cactus Flower to Dantro's Wife. 6. Do the Cactoid family quest. 7. THEN gather the ingredients for Dantro's Wife. Don't forget to get everything (5x Seaclam Shell, 2x Nebralim Vials, 3x Valeblossom Dew, 1x Great Serpentskin). If you miss on one of these, you won't get the Golden Amulet along with the Barheim Key. You'll get the Barheim Key no matter what you do, but the Golden Amulet is a really nice bonus.

If the player brings 3-7 items, the patient will be a bangaa and Vaan will the get Barheim Key and a Balance Mote. The player receives a Bundle of Needles for turning in the Cactus Flower.
With my completion of this side quest I handed in all the medicine items Dantros wife asked me to find. But I might have accidently sold the great serpent skin when I was selling lot to merchants. But I still got rewarded some magic gloves and the barhiem key. I saw that u received the golden amulet and the key too. I'm playing the ps2 version and it is the same but combat and graphics are a little different. Cheers and thanks for the help again friend

My traveler was one of those humanoid gators.. sorry dont know the name of those. Thanks for the location of the last vial... couldnt find it by all means.. and i already sold the skin... pity diddnt know id need it xD

Isn’t there an NPC earlier in the game that will read your palm or something. She gives you a clue. A code...5231. ??the amount of items needed for this side quest!!?? 5231..
in the original game you could get 5 of the dew drops...might be the reason....also their is a big hunt their for the barheim passage...the baanga next to the guys body gives it out...once thats done you can get the golden axe from the merchant there.

I didn't pick any hunt quest and went into Barheim Passage just killed Mimic Queen so i have to reset the whole game for this or im good and can pick up the quest to be able to reenter the Barheim Passage once again!?
Just a reminder to anyone doing this after the hunt club quest is accepted a terror tyrant can spawn in the broken sands area it's level 50 plus so don't smack it unless you can actually end it cause it will wreck you lol

Anyone get into the situation where she asks for the semclam shells before you get to deal with the North Bank part? I don't have the option for that part yet, but I've handed in the shells and the vials already.
So i thought i'd let you know that i had already sold the skin. I went back to do this after Mt Bur-Omisace. There wasnt a moogle but a human woman who gave me gloves instead. I think the reward and identity of the person changes on how much effort you put into this quest.

three things I learned from doing this quest and going online 1st you don't need the Great serpentskin to get the barheim key just the items 2nd is that you only get the magick gloves if you dont have the great serpentskin and 3rd is when you talk to the recovered Traveller it can either be a moogle or a person
I did everything you mentioned and it wasn't a Moogle for me. It was a human woman. I also only got the Magicked Glove, no Golden Amulet. The opposite of you
Thanks for the guide on how to get this passage key! I'll chime in with the others the great Serpent skin sold yields you a female instead of moogle. She gives magick gloves and key instead of golden amulet and key. Kinda wish I hadn't cause I could have three characters doubling lp.. 😔

My traveller was a young woman. On ps2 platform. I collected the same ammount of ingredients but did not get the golden amulet nor gloves. Which is fine, I have plenty.
in my theory he spent almost an hour and 42 minutes looking for the third Shining bottle and I said shiny hunting in Pokemon takes just about the same amount of time

It really doesn’t matter though because you can buy all the rewards at shops and they are not that good anyways. They are pretty generic.
