I miss him, and he’s tried to reach me, but no grand gestures etc. Do you think he finally realized he was not ready or finally respects me enough to leave me alone since he can’t give me what I want? Part of me hopes he is trying to get his 💩 together, because he knows I have higher standards. The logical (non-emotional) side of me says to continue healing and move forward without him.

He said he has difficulty with commitment yet recently updated his Bumble profile from “long term, open to short” to “long term only” and changed one of his photos.. he smokes weed to destress, plays video games, doesn’t communicate, his dog seems depressed, and I paid for our first and half our second meal (he’s a teacher so I stupidly thought, ok, he does this difficult job that no one wants to do and he’s good at it, but not compensated accordingly.) but his soul is unmatched and there’s physical attraction.
