Sex, booze and party in the Navy? Who knew? Many years ago while in the Navy, I was stationed at a small overseas base with only around 350 personnel. I had been there less than a month when we were all summoned to the base theater where the base doctor threw bowls full of condoms into the crowd like candy at a parade. He then chewed us out, saying he had treated 65 cases of VD in 6 months and was tired of dealing with it.... Good times. :)
Lol when I joined me and one other recruit both had clymidia and our CC gave us 2 so much shit omg saying we banged the same girl etc. When you are 17 that was hard to deal with but funny иow in retrospect.
Yooooo I'm a junior in high school and I'm thinking about joining the navy, so I'm fuckin glad af that I found your channel cuz this is the only place in the internet where I could get all my real ass questions answered instead of bullshit ass vids that only talk about the good shit in the navy
Watch the Faces of Navy Bootcamp video for the jist of it but to me it was very easy just annoying. Stay strong mentally and don't take anything personal. You also get some down time too. The majority of it is marching to be honest and folding clothes... Lol
We had the best time ever with some Auzzie sailor in Subic Bay. We kept them safe and got them home in one piece. After I got out of The Navy, I had the chance to go to Sydney. I managed to get on a dive trip to the GBR. It was great. I was there about 21 days. Ticked off the number one item on my bucket list.
"The same as a civilian" . . . Then my social life will always consist of elderly people and animals (I love both so I wouldn't mind) it's just that they pass away and then I miss them.
Its true and it is pretty dark, even as a Veteran under the VA's care they still own me 30 years later. I work for a Police Department currently and they own me too lol,
On my first enlistment, I had the state of the art Atari 2600 console. I had just about every game they made back then. I had made AO2 by then and had my own room. After room inspections, I notice my stuff was moved around a bit. I asked a coop cleaner about it. They tag along during inspections, taking notes for the Senior Chief that did the inspecting. He told me the Senior Chief was playing with my toys. What I did next was apparently wrong. I went straight to the Senior Cheif and as politely as possible asked him about it. He admitted to it. I asked him not to because that stuff was expensive and I'd never do something like that to him. Then it hit the fan. I started failing inspections. If you fail, you're supposed to dress in your dress uniform and standby on Saturday for reinvention. After the third one, I start going up to Sequoia National Park for the weekends. After failing around 20, my division officer called me in, I explained that up to when I asked the S.C, to leave my stuff alone I had never failed an inspection, I was doing nothing different but suddenly I was the dirtbag of the squadron. After that little talk. I failed 2 more inspections for appearance sake and then started passing again. This whole time, I was TAD to AIMD. I slept in the squadron barracks and picked up my mail at the hanger. All my duty and work was done in the AIMD spaces on their schedule. This caused problems later on but that's another story.
Dude. I just started watching your videos. I asked on another vid what squadron you were in? I was at HSC-4 and would go to Viejas Casino all the time. haha
Did they still allow you to drink on base at 18? We hit up Tijuana quite a bit. Lots of college girls go there too. Anyone in Sand Dog (aka...San Diego) must hit up the Kansas City BBQ down on Harbor in the Gaslamp district. Also, dont forget to utilize the U.S.O! The U.S.O is a great place to hang out , shoot pool, make calls, play cards....and best of all....take showers and change for the night activities so you dont have to go back to the ship to change...the U.S.O is like a second home or country club. Oh, the good old days.....
dayumn...wish I could do pull ups... I cant even do one.... my daughter does pull ups all the time... just ask HUGGIES...shes like the president of the company by now...
this is a serious question... im 17 going to boot camp when i graduate and no one has been able to give me a straight answer to this question... what do u do when you have to take a shit do u have head time or do u jus request permission to fall out or whts the deal
cup your balls with your left hand, raise your right hand to remove your cap and hold it behind your rear. next shout out 'SIR, JETTISON OVERBOARD' repeat.
If you focus on going slow whenever youre coming down on your pullups, youll gain alot more strength then you would think, and reverse curls Ive found help out tremendously
I just wanna say thanks Justin. I've watched a lot of your videos on the navy and saw the evolution of your tattoo collection. (No offense really do admire the ink. ) you've given me a lot of confidence about joining the navy and I appreciate the information you've given. The only question I have is I am terrified of water. (Not a limiting fear but still scary) and I know storms are stronger out in the ocean so could you explain that?
what would happen if two soldiers of equal rank enter a relationship, and one of them gets a promotion where they would become the direct supervisor of the other. Would that be considered fraternization, or would it be waived by HR?
Dude I so appreciate this vid. It's so down to Earth and real, and of all vids, your enthusiasm makes me feel so much more comfortable in my decision to join up. I've been wondering about how hard the transition is from basic training.
What were your experiences like with Navy Corpsman? Do you know any personally? Were they happy with their job? And another question do you regret joining the Navy? In the end did the pros outweigh the cons? I have been looking into becoming a Navy Hospital Corpsman but I'm still not sure if I even want to enlist at all because once you sign that dotted line you're stuck for five years. Any information would be greatly appreciated as all of your videos have helped me. Thank you and keep the vids coming!
Hey dude. I'm joining the navy as a E-3 HM later this year in December. I was just wondering if you could do a video on how to rank up the fastest and maybe how someone would go about getting there own place out of the barracks. Thanks man, I'd REALLY appreciate it
I assume that enlisting as a nuke in the Navy, I won't receive the same off time during port trips to party and see these women you talk about.. Lol, it's difficult to find a decisive answer, because that seems to be the best argument for me choosing the Navy out of other branches.
I really want to go to the navy really bad! but I just don't wanna get caught up in drugs and girls an stuff because I have a girlfriend. so I'm A little bit Shakey on going now
Are you still playing poker? Any success? I’m going in to the navy soon, waiting for my background stuff to go through for CTI. But I’m also a huge poker fan👌
I'm not sure if you already did a video on this but I'm leaving in January for boot as an AM, and I know you said that you were an AM too. Would you do a video explaining what it's like to work as one. Like, what the different jobs you did were and what it was actually like in all honesty. Thanks man, your videos help me out waiting to leave for boot. (thumbs up)
yo justin I used to play competitive too, what teams were you on and did you go to any mlg events? btw did the guy with Xbox suitcase able to play online during deployment?
Louielicious haha dope ,, i played COD 4 Pro Circuit Ladder 3 in 2008 and Pro circuit ladders 1 and 2 in 2009 ,,,, i went to anaheim in 09 for champs , and played with parasite , bouncy , striker , krumpy throughout cod 4 and mw2 till i left for basic
I don't know if you've done a video on your job rate in the past but if you haven't it be nice to know what "AM" do. I only find the basic information on it, an inside perspective would be nice. Thank you
anas shido Aviation Mechanic ,, you can work on anything from helo's to f18's ,,, we work on almost the whole aircraft from the tires to the flight control and hydraulic systems , we also do fiberglass and structural repair .... its a very hard working rate , but its very rewarding
You made a video talking about how you spent 2 years in Japan? What base? How did that all work out? What did you write for your list to be stationed? There is a list right? Top 5 where you want to go and 5 where you don't want to go? please tell us about that?
I was reading up on this STA-21 program, can you talk about that? And I still would like to know about how you ended up in Japan for 2 years? How that worked? Please talk about japan :/
Question: while in A school, do you have the weekends free? I know A School is in North Chicago and Chicago is about 45 min away, do people go downtown into the city during the weekend? I have family in Chicago and was wondering if it would be hard to be with family and friends during the weekend in Chicago?
alright so I am seriously considering joining the navy and I'm not necessarily worried about bootcamp but I think my biggest worry is getting the respect.. how long does it take for you to feel that satisfaction of getting the respect you should have when joining the navy? like when you first graduate does it still feel like you haven't quite done a damn thing in regards to being a sailor and you don't really feel the need to get the full respect yet or does it feel amazing and you just want to go out in public and just start telling people to respect haha? or another way to look at my question is do you feel like you have done enough? is it a truly satisfying feeling or does true satisfaction come later down the road?
Timothy Fullerton im confused on what you asking lol. Respect though, uhh well i went in respecting everyone and got it back. Mostly all my shipmates i met in bootcamp, a school, etc have been really awesome.
haha going back and reading it I can see the confusion.. I guess I am thinking more about honor among the people.. were you are seen and respected.. do you feel satisfied enough when first graduating to the point were you feel you should be honored or is it something that comes with more experience and duties achieved? I'm just curious of the feeling you have when becoming what you worked so hard to become you know..
satisfaction (with anything) comes with performance. if your enlisting with the mindset that you need to feel respected or for others to honor you then you won't feel it. you have to make your own self worth by determination and performance.
k cool. thanks. just wanted to know the mindset of someone already in listed.. I'd hate to go in expecting more than i could get... best answer i could have had!
+JTsuits So I took the ASVAB and scored a 70 but the Army recruiter tried to get me to be a 88m, I've been debating between going Navy reserves or Army National Guard until I finish college in Ohio. Would you recommend for someone to go between 2 branches?
Question, say if you joined the Navy and as soon as you were able to go to college could you? And would you be able to obtain an 4 year degree within 6 years including deployment?
knowledgeiskey i mean its possible but if your starting from scratch with 0 college history then probably not , but you could for sure get your Associates in that time
if u could do it all over again what other military branch would u consider. I grew up in a navy family , but im considering the air force and also the navy as a back up option
thats awesome man, I didn't even know umg was still around lol oh well. I wish I could find the drive again but I think I just grew out of it unfortunately
Are benefits same from active and reserves? I guess besides the health insurance and the payment. Also do you get deployed as a reserve? like someone in your case..inactive reserve? Can you still get deployed?
Andrew Kim As far as I'm aware (and as far as my recruiter's made it obvious to me), the Reserves, both inactive and active, are just in case of like a big war. Since those are extremely unlikely to happen, there really isn't much of a downside to being in inactive reserves. Of course, I could be talking out of my ass.
I've done research since and the radiation coming to the west coast is harmless. In Japan it's only bad in the area where the reactors broke but the rest of the country is alright
Hey man I'm in dep with the navy and wanted a seal contract which I have scored well enough on a pst to get but they wanna give me eod instead. I was wondering if u think its a good job or have been around people that are eods
sometimes the recruiter will want you to go for a different job based on what their needs are. if you express to him or her that you want to be a navy seal entirely and won't take any other contract then I'm sure you can get that done. what I will say though is don't fuck yourself over join, get that special contract and have something wrong with you medically or can't complete the training, get kicked out of that job and have to pick another which are way more limited and will have usually all the shitty jobs. do something you know for a fact that you can do and that you'll be good at it and you're fine. not meant to be discouraging if you wanna be a seal but it's literally only for the elite few.
Squadrons are sent to Naval Air Stations. Ships company personnel a assigned to a specific ship and will live aboard it. For training purposes these ships may go out to sea for a few days and then return to port. Things get interesting if your ship is sent to drydock for repairs or upgrades. The crew generally get put into a temporary barracks until they can kve back aboard ship.
My mom got pregnant before deployment but it wasn't on purpose to avoid deployment my parents just wanted a kid and they just thought that if it happened it happened and that was God's way. Also my ex -friend got pregnant on purpose to avoid deployment and we are no longer friend because of that .
and if you running on a treadmill make sure to do twice the amount refinanced which is 1m 1/2 . so do 3 miles on the tread mill this will make it hella easy for you in boot camp and do lots of push ups if you can't hit one yet then lift weights and increase by 10-20 pounds each day. Go swimming ! Indore pool or out more just make sure you can 1-float 2-swim to the other side of the pool and some other thing I forgot the name
i cringe everytime
JTsuits 😂

Boot camp is easy, If u have any questions feel free to ask me too
+Bcomes what goes down in bootcamp ?? what do they make you do?
Watch the Faces of Navy Bootcamp video for the jist of it but to me it was very easy just annoying. Stay strong mentally and don't take anything personal. You also get some down time too. The majority of it is marching to be honest and folding clothes... Lol
Loving your videos, I'm joining the Australian Navy but I enjoy hearing your experiences from the US Navy.
cheers mate !!! loved my time in Brisbane and Gold Coast ;)

Its true and it is pretty dark, even as a Veteran under the VA's care they still own me 30 years later. I work for a Police Department currently and they own me too lol,
Another great video. You should ask for recruiter pension; these videos certainly helped me decide.

Can you do a video on relationships in the navy or the military for that matter. Thanks lot. Love your vids very informative keep it up.
You should talk about other stuff than the navy too. More motovlogs and shit. I like your vids!
what would happen if two soldiers of equal rank enter a relationship, and one of them gets a promotion where they would become the direct supervisor of the other.
Love the music when doing the pull ups 😂😂
I assume that enlisting as a nuke in the Navy, I won't receive the same off time during port trips to party and see these women you talk about.. Lol, it's difficult to find a decisive answer, because that seems to be the best argument for me choosing the Navy out of other branches.
Solid advice!!
That pull up music though xD
I really want to go to the navy really bad! but I just don't wanna get caught up in drugs and girls an stuff because I have a girlfriend. so I'm A little bit Shakey on going now

Can i still surf in the Navy ? The recruiter eluded to Hookers,Booze, Waves ?
Can you speak on any racism or fights or anything in that area of topics in your next video

Question: while in A school, do you have the weekends free? I know A School is in North Chicago and Chicago is about 45 min away, do people go downtown into the city during the weekend? Hey, I was just wondering why you left. You probably mentioned it in another video, but why not just stay in until retirement?
can you do a video about what it was like doing your job in the navy and what training was like
Put a fudging rubber on: The video : Don't do it wrong
would you pick being stationed on a big carrier ship or the small ones (cruisers, destroyers, ect.?)
Except 150 sailors go down and 75 couples come up
3 months, 8 "was" their sea duty.
lol no, you only stay submerged for 3 months MAX. food runs out at that time
very helpful! Shipping out for boot camp in November hit me up brother!

you think it is enough time to work a full-time job and join reserved navy for the first 4 year
Quality videos man!
Wait.. women target military guys specifically for a paycheck? Given some do, but come on, the majority of us don't lol.
Lmao look at ur face that’s why
Am I aloud to record music, make beats, and stuff like that in the military?
Yes lol once you get out of bootcamp it's like a regular job
Are benefits same from active and reserves? I guess besides the health insurance and the payment. Also do you get deployed as a reserve? like someone in your case..inactive reserve? Can you still get deployed?
Andrew Kim As far as I'm aware (and as far as my recruiter's made it obvious to me), the Reserves, both inactive and active, are just in case of like a big war. Since those are extremely unlikely to happen, there really isn't much of a downside to being in inactive reserves.
Of course, I could be talking out of my ass.
SomeRandomGuy1098 ur mostly right >.
Is japan still radioactive after Fukushima nuclear power plant leak?
Yea it is, and it's slowing going to the west coast. Data proves it
I've done research since and the radiation coming to the west coast is harmless. In Japan it's only bad in the area where the reactors broke but the rest of the country is alright
It is like 1% backround which is nothing. You get more on a plane
Make a video about admin jobs I'm going to boot camp and curious if you know much about yeoman I heard its chill af!
Hey, I was just wondering why you left.
I've played CoD4 Modern Warfare professionally too, but on PC)
Good times
i dont get it, everyone had their job on the ship doing whatever, but when a situation comes, who does what in combat
What do you think of the SEAL & SWCC guys, & what's your opinion on guys who want to go the SEAL or SWCC route?
Yo man i ship out to bootcamp in two weeks exactly for aviation ordnance
Cool a lot of info thanks
Can you surf in the Navy ?
Do you think that I would have enough time to work a full time job and join reserved navy?
thanks for the advice bro
EOD seems pretty good from what I heard of. If you want to really be a SEAL though, it never hurts to try
If i did that with my pull up bar id never leave my room to eat
Is there any chances that you can go out of country after boot camp just for 30 days ?
Jhayvee Prudencio like back home to see your family ?
I have that question too! I'd be joining the US Navy from Ireland so would I be able to fly home after boot camp to see my family?
I'm sure the intro couldn't been edited away
thanks jt another question if you aren't deployed on sea duty, do you just stay on the ship regardless?
Squadrons are sent to Naval Air Stations. Ships company personnel a assigned to a specific ship and will live aboard it. For training purposes these ships may go out to sea for a few days and then return to port. Things get interesting if your ship is sent to drydock for repairs or upgrades. The crew generally get put into a temporary barracks until they can kve back aboard ship.
the word you are looking for is tag chaser
Fuck yes dude, im thinking about enlisting and thats exactly what i want to do with my free time, just play cards and grind poker
My mom got pregnant before deployment but it wasn't on purpose to avoid deployment my parents just wanted a kid and they just thought that if it happened it happened and that was God's way. Also my ex -friend got pregnant on purpose to avoid deployment and we are no longer friend because of that .
Gotta love Olongapo City, P.I. during Viet Nam. The Sodom and Gomorrah of WESPAC.
sit still, god damn :p
do you have any shipmates who recieved waiverscto join for certain circumstances or know the likeliness of recieving one?
Hmmm.. You think you can still Skate?
how did you prep for the physical aspects of boot camp?
Well I'm not in the military yet but my advice would be to practice push ups, and go on runs, that would be the best way to prepare
and if you running on a treadmill make sure to do twice the amount refinanced which is 1m 1/2 . so do 3 miles on the tread mill this will make it hella easy for you in boot camp and do lots of push ups if you can't hit one yet then lift weights and increase by 10-20 pounds each day. Go swimming ! Indore pool or out more just make sure you can 1-float 2-swim to the other side of the pool and some other thing I forgot the name
you think it is enough time to work a full-time job and join reserved navy for the first 4 year?
