Hi everyone! Hope you enjoy the video. This is a fun play between two of my favorite stitches. The Granny Square and C2C. This is perfect for temperature blankets, stash busting or if you have a variegated yarn that you've been wanting to use. This stitch can easily be converted from a square to a rectangle blanket. I hope you give it a try. xx
Hi! I’m doing this right now! Making a potholder 😉 so going to make it double. So easy to follow! Lovely pattern with different colours. Started crochet four weeks ago so I’m new to this. All the best from Sweden ❤️
Hi thank you for sharing I love the idea of no.chains in between, makes it more cosy and warm, I am an oldie crocheting for 50 plus years, but, still love new ideas, I crochet.for charity here in Ireland so these two ideas are great, thanks again, you are Amazing, 🌼🌼🌼

This is THE BEST video I’ve seen and I have viewed several trying to get this pattern to a point where I could understand and follow. THANKS SO MUCH! You are a great teacher …

I have been crocheting about 60 yrs and never did C2C. I decided that the time is now! I tuned in to the first video about C2C, and it turns out to be yours. So glad I did because you explained so simple and with patience. Thank you so much, I now know how to do the C2C stitch. Keeping your video handy for reference.

Thank you!

Thank you for taking the mystery out of making a rectangular C2C granny - continuing to ‘increase’ on only one side; using that stitch marker is genius!
Thanks so much. I really couldn’t anticipate how to build the rectangle and it is so obvious now that you demonstrated it. 😊this will be fun to do. Linda
What a beautiful way you have of explaining! And your voice is so soothing. You explain the "theory" so I don't even have to look at a chart or pattern, and would be able to design further on my own. I'm glad your video popped up in my feed and I took the time to watch it!
The best presentation on RUclips of the C2C. I have been so confused on how to do it from other videos. Thank you for making this easy for me. I can't wait to try this once my other project is done. ❤️❤️❤️
I’m a knitter and I’ve never been interested in learning to crochet,,as I really don’t like how it looks. I worked in a yarn shop for years, became an instructor, but still didn’t like crochet. Now I’m 83 and think maybe I should learn a little. Granny squares are a no no for me, but I’m going to try your tutorial. Thank You so much. ❤️🇨🇦
What a fun pattern!! I made a large square today and it is just perfect. I use 100% cottons and made it for a kitchen hot pad. I really like that this pattern can be made to any size. The color combinations are endless. I determined years ago that if you want a beautiful piece using constant color changes, the tucking-time just has to go with the artistry of your creation. I take my time, relax and know that it is just a part of the beauty. Great video and well explained, Roz. Thank you.💖
Roz there was another video on this subject and I made a suggestion there that might help some folks. For the final cluster try this. Another way to get a square corner on the last row. chain three, start the first double crochet in the cluster leave the loop on the hook, do the same for the second and third double crochets so you have 4 loops on the hook. Pull through all four loops and draw the 3 double crochets together. End as usual with the stitch at the end of the row. This gave me a square corner. i hope this helps.
This is the best tutorial I have seen for C2C, super simple and so clear. I can’t wait to put this into practice. Thank you for your help this has been much needed to be able to start my granny square cardigan!! 💗💗
Hi Ross, me again the loopy funny edges person. I’ll I finally got tired of ripping out putting it back ripping out and I decided to blindly just do the pattern which I had been doing perfectly fine and just trusted the process. I got it done. It looks fine I think. I guess I didn’t realize and none of the RUclipsr who do the crochet diagonal granny mention that the decrease edges are not as smooth and tight as the increase edges. It would be nice if a few of you would address this because when I looked at it the first few times. I just thought it was wrong that I was doing something wrong, but it is definitely, a character of the decrease anyway all is well. I’m happy with my results still don’t particularly like the little bit of holy effect you get on the sides at the edge but there again it’s part of the nature of the beast I guess anyway thank you for your response earlierit helped me be more determined to get it figured out thanks!
