He was so caring, so talented, so handsome, so tragic to lose him so young to a terrible illness.
He was all those that you list and I am so sorry to have lost him with so many others. However, he was really failing mentally and physically leading up to his death. He looked, I think about 15 years older than he was and also in his movements. RIP Matthew. I have learned to seperate the character of Chandler from the person Matthew.
@@currybasehe was sober for multiple years prior to his death and he helped others to stop addiction and Become sober just like him. His Death was most likely caused by everything he had taken in his Youth finally catching up to him. He was happy in his last moments or at least I’d like to think so.
Matthew was favorite cast member. He will be sorely missed.

Me thinks- it wasn't drugs and addiction that killed Matthew. It was a soul that could never be filled, which led to his use of drugs/alcohol to give him the ability to not feel the pain of his sense of emptiness. RIP Matthew. I hope you are finally at peace. Finally....

I would have liked him so much to have found a Love that he could hold on to. Loneliness is terrible and painful. And he looked so lonely and lost. Especially at the end.
Even when he tells us how to remember him, it hurts. Because he also told us what he was missing and how much he wanted a wife and children.
I wish him so much that his soul has finally found peace and that his pain is over.

I have read some of the comments on this special person and I wish that we would all feel the same about the man who saved our souls , you know who ,why didn't someone tell him about Jesus that could have helped him with his problem . this man is .

I feel almost as if I met him.
I'm about a year older than Matthew. When I was reading the news one day, I read that he had died. I did a double take on the headline. It was a sad & strange feeling.

Amazing life Matthew lived in 54 years. He should have partied with Charlie Sheen. Matthew would have drank Charlie under the table.i did not know Matthew or follow him on TV shows like friends. I have watched more videos of Matthew since his passing than ever before. Impressive, entertaining but yet troubling. It's very difficult to comprehend how he held on and lived 54 years after he said in the opening of his book "I should be dead". Well, now he is. So sad. These Hollywood celebrities are way over paid. One million dollar income in a week. WTF. Give me a break. They talk about seasons, I talk about years. There are four seasons in the year. Now, the world knows how he spent the other three seasons of the year under the influence if drugs and alcohol. I was especially touched last night to hear him read his book aloud on RUclips when most people write books to make money. He made more money i one week than most people will make in a lifetime doing such things as serving their country in the military for 22 years, becoming a licensed realtor for 5 years and licensed contractor, 10 years and working in the Middle East for three years. How unfair and uncompensating life can be for people like me, in the real world. He will now be remembered as a very dedicated and passionate person who opened his life story to the world about his drug and alcohol deamons. He left a message in the bottle that will wash ashore someday in hopes of helping some other drug addict who might be walking or drowning in his shoes. Matthew's autobiography has a very meaningful purpose but tragic ending for him, family and friends. Now Matthew can Rest in Sobriety.
