Sorry sir...but all the time you were trying to repair an OST & not PST..!! The outlook error message clearly stated that .OST file is opened in the background & you need to close the file. It was so simple to understand & al you need to do was to close outlook. And I still dont uderstand why you were trying to use command scanpst.exe when you were trying to repair an .ost file.
