Is 147 kph considered high speed in China? I doubt it. Normally their high speed trains travel at 300 kph.
It might be the speed during acceleration...not necessarily the train's top speed.
High speed overnight sleeper trains generally reduce speeds to give passengers a full night for sleeping.
And It’s a D train （动车） with max speed of 250 kmh and sleeper trains are slower for comfort
