Cool video! I always wanted to know how fishermen anchored up to catch butts. I like to drift, but this seems a lot more convenient and productive. I am curious what you prefer drift vs. anchor??? Also, it would be nice to see where you place yourself on the fishfinder. Do you have to move every time the tide changes to fish either side of a particular contour? Or do you fish the same spot regardless of the incoming/outgoing tide? ALso, where do you place your downrigger? More aft towards the extended transom? OR closer to the front? Any tricks to prevent getting your line tangled with the dowrigger line? Lastly, you mentioned not to bounce or drag the weight on the bottom. I was always told to bounce it and to make sure your weight is at the bottom. Please let me know your thoughts on this. Thanks again for the video, I am really looking forward to this coming Halibut season as I will probably sell my boat afterwards due to my wife quitting owrk to go back to school as a A. Going to be a sad couple years after this halibut season. Thanks again John, I love all your videos!

Better have 300' feet of rode if you plan on anchoring in 140' of water, minimum.
