My daughter had to miss 10 days of school last year DUE TO A SURGERY and the school threatened me with a warning for her to not miss anymore. Even though they were provided a letter from the surgeon excusing the time off. To say I was beyond pissed is an understatement.

I was a single Mom that had a teenager that would just refuse to get on the bus or miss days & I was working with zero handouts & could not hold my 16 year olds hand all day to make sure he went to class. I was bullied & harassed for being a single working parent. And I was threatened that I would go to jail for my son missing school. And it was like 7 days. So when he could pull it off. Punishing me & my other kids by locking me up hardly seems like the solution. I’ve never been to jail or arrested I follow the law & at the time I was a full time working single mom. That law was making my life so hard I felt like I was going to have a mental breakdown. This is how Ik Kamala doesn’t care about women or kids.
I was a single Mom raising my son on my own...I would drive him to school, watch him walk inside, doors shut and still get a call from the school that he didn't come to school that day. You can only do so much and should not be punished for what your child is doing or not doing. And I lived in California at the time back in the mid 1980s.

@@chriss2452 not necessarily. Trump selected a few people in the private sector who weren’t really siding with any party in his first term. What’s important about the cabinet is whether they can implement and enforce policy respective of their departments.
My personal opinion: Tulsi has potential as UN Ambassador, maybe Defense Secretary. Her debate performance suggests potential for Attorney General, but some of her views make that seem risky to me.

Even watching this I’m getting Kamala Harris Ads for support. I think younger voters are swayed by a ‘cheerful and nice’ demeanor and someone who seems pro trans and pro abortion more than looking at economic and global policy. Conservatives will not have an easy election.

I am a Dem (Independent if we had Independent in our state) who was for Bernie & Tulsi (who by the way was a Dem through 2023 and ran as a Democrat for President in 2020) but got treated so horribly by the DNC as did Bernie, and now Tulsi is Republican as of late 2023.
