  • Hello,
This is another product review video for my channel.
And today I'll be talking about my first impressions on this MOTORBIKE HELMET that I have just purchased from ALDI Australia in AUGUST 2023.
    COST: 79.99 AUSTRALIAN DOLARS
    BOX CONTENT:
    -motorcycle helmet
    -helmey bag
    -removable visor
    -rubber guard
    -warranty card
    -users manual
    PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
    -model: H271
    -type: flip front
    -size: Medium (57-58cm)
    weight: 1560g +-50
    -color: Matte black
    -safety specs: ECE R 22.06
    Features:
    -integrated sun visor
-closable ventilation slides (1x chin + 2x overhead)
    - scratch resistant
    -transparent visor
    -windbreak deflector
    -removable internal cushioning
Everything looks of average quality to me.
The helmet has a clean plain look. It is small and light weight making it comfortable to wear. The colour matte black is elegant and fingerprints don't easily appear on the helmet from handling it. The internal cushions are soft yet firm enough for a snuggly fit.
The real selling point for this helmet is that it comes with a flip front and integrated sun visor, which are normally not found in helmets of this price range.
Also, the helmet was manufactured in 2023 and, therefore, complies with the latest safety standard, the ECE R 22.06, when the vast majority of helmets currently available in the market still meet the previous version of the standard.
    UPSIDES:
-unbeatable features for the price (80 bucks)
    -latest safety compliance
    -light weight
-flip front for this who find it useful
-integrated sun visor, which I personally find absolutely necessary in a helmet.
    DOWNSIDES:
-tab to open/close the clear visor is too small
    -boring design
-slide button to flip in/out sun visor is a bit fragile
-might be hard to find accessories and replacement parts
-might be hard to find the exact same helmet again for sale as it was part of Aldi' august special sales.
Suggested use: motorbike (not for racing or adventure sports according to the manual).
I hope you find this video useful.

From Nsw. I picked up the 2024 yesterday .The gloss one with red graphics. Seems the same as the one reviewed above from last Year. Pretty sure they are all one shell size as you would expect with three sizes. Just the padding on inside changes. Have not used it yet. I have had aldi helmets before but not modular. I am tired of the heat so could even use this as a 3/4 i suppose. There not bad.

I had a matt black one from a few years back, maybe even 3 or 4 years back now.
Thought it was OK but just picked up the new model today.
Went with the graphic gloss black one this time though.
Nice to try a modular helmet from them for a change, seems comfy but havent taken it on actual run yet.
Also the internal drop down sun shade slide is better on this one.
My older one had it on top where the visor is, was a small button and to get it back up you had to slide you thumb or finger up on it
Defo more ergonomic on this one.
The old one also came with a spare visor.

Is the visor antifog? The top of the range Arai have antifog visor. Looks good otherwise..
