    I've had the same air fryer for a couple of months and have yet to cook filet migon in it. I'm gonna get that Montreal seasoning too. I know I may have to adjust the time and temp for it's size, etc. but you made it easy for me to decide to go for it! Thank you!

    I’m a fan of medium-rare (135°). I let the Ninja air-broil preheat for about 7-8 minutes, put steak in for 5 minutes, flip for 6 more minutes, pull it (it’ll be around 130°-133°), let rest, meat will come up to temp during the rest. perfect every time.

    Thanks man, I’ve been using the air fryer mode to do steaks and the outside gets burnt while the inside is RARE. I like medium rare so I’ll take your advice on using the broiling mode @ 20 min, gotta see some blood. Thanks again for your review.

    • @jimdolen225
      @jimdolen225 Год назад +1

      why not use the "roast" option at a lower temp to get the inside temp up a bit before finishing with air fry or air broil?

    After months of trying to decide which air fryer to buy; I think I've decided on this one. I probably wouldn't want quite that much sear; so maybe could switch to air fryer mode before it gets that crispy on the outside; I enjoy your videos, food always looks so good!

    Darnell Belated Merry Christmas to you and yours... I enjoyed the video and the Ribeye came out nice although for me I like it more on the Medium Rare side anywhere from 130-135. That said, the Ninja Foodi 2 Basket Air Fryer does a nice job, but I feel it cannot compare to the Ninja Foodi Grill for searing and cooking steaks and the Foodi Grill is my go-to piece of equipment for Ribeye or other steaks... Thanks buddy!

    Strange. I have the same machine and used the exact same settings, Air Crisp for 20 Minutes. Checkd after 10 minutes and the steak was overcooked. I like my steak medium rare to medium, but after 10 minutes of Air Crisp it was more than well done.

    22 min in air fryer I can cook it faster in frying pan 4 min each side maybe 5 min to take all blood out of steak 🥩 all time 10 min

    That poor steak deserved better. You should have gotten the interior to 125, taken it off and covered with foil for resting and it would continue it’s internal cooking up to a perfect 130-135.

    • @WaveOvenRecipes
      @WaveOvenRecipes  Год назад

      Resting allows juices to return through the meat. The heat causes fluid to constrict into the meat. Resting makes for a juicier bite 🙂

    450 at air broil on a steak will give you a big piece of charcoal at that time. I tried and that's what I got. You are much better off using air fry at a lower temp.
