I've had the same air fryer for a couple of months and have yet to cook filet migon in it. I'm gonna get that Montreal seasoning too. I know I may have to adjust the time and temp for it's size, etc. but you made it easy for me to decide to go for it! Thank you!
I’m a fan of medium-rare (135°). I let the Ninja air-broil preheat for about 7-8 minutes, put steak in for 5 minutes, flip for 6 more minutes, pull it (it’ll be around 130°-133°), let rest, meat will come up to temp during the rest. perfect every time.
Thanks man, I’ve been using the air fryer mode to do steaks and the outside gets burnt while the inside is RARE. I like medium rare so I’ll take your advice on using the broiling mode @ 20 min, gotta see some blood. Thanks again for your review.
After months of trying to decide which air fryer to buy; I think I've decided on this one. I probably wouldn't want quite that much sear; so maybe could switch to air fryer mode before it gets that crispy on the outside; I enjoy your videos, food always looks so good!
Darnell Belated Merry Christmas to you and yours... I enjoyed the video and the Ribeye came out nice although for me I like it more on the Medium Rare side anywhere from 130-135. That said, the Ninja Foodi 2 Basket Air Fryer does a nice job, but I feel it cannot compare to the Ninja Foodi Grill for searing and cooking steaks and the Foodi Grill is my go-to piece of equipment for Ribeye or other steaks... Thanks buddy!

Strange. I have the same machine and used the exact same settings, Air Crisp for 20 Minutes. Checkd after 10 minutes and the steak was overcooked. I like my steak medium rare to medium, but after 10 minutes of Air Crisp it was more than well done.
That poor steak deserved better. You should have gotten the interior to 125, taken it off and covered with foil for resting and it would continue it’s internal cooking up to a perfect 130-135.
450 at air broil on a steak will give you a big piece of charcoal at that time. I tried and that's what I got. You are much better off using air fry at a lower temp.

Steak looks spectacular. 140 degrees is perfect for me
Perfect. Just the way I cook steak in my Ninja 2.
Here 3 years later and will be trying this in my air fryer. Great video sir!
Awesome video! Perfect for a first timer…..thanks for sharing the recipe!
I just bought one of these! My steak turned out amazing! Thank you for your video. You are nice to listen to.
Montreal steak seasoning 😂😂 I remember when we thought this was fancy! Still use it myself to this day. Nice job!
Thank you for making this video. I just bought a Ninja unit like you have.
I've done this and pull at 14 min and rest with foil for 10min....perfection
Good Job cooking the steak, I am looking to buy this Air Fryer so this was a big help for me. Thanks !!

Thanks so much for sharing. I'd been looking for recipes using the the other functions besides air fry.
I gotta try that seasoning, that steak looked great
That was so funny when you said wait a minute hold up on the slice.
You’re nice to listen to. Very informative and easy going. Thanks for sharing
loved your video. it me the confidence to try it myself.
Well done video, I’ll try your way and see what happens. Will be watching.
great video can I use Peanut oil over the Steaks

why not use the "roast" option at a lower temp to get the inside temp up a bit before finishing with air fry or air broil?
I have my preference, but it's all simply heating a piece of meat. So, everyone can use their preferred methods 🙂
I just bought one, so this is the perfect video for me!!!! I will do 18 minites for a ri9b eye.
Your call ; but , I take it Pittsburgh Rare . Thank You ! Great Video .

I like mine medium rare but I like the sear you got on it! Hope you bad a blessed Christmas!
Very good and hope yours was too.
Looks delicious 😋. Just bought the same fryer so far having fun and tasty food.
Great job my brother very good
Great looking steak. I need to try making one in my Ninja 2 basket cooker.

I really enjoy your videos. Thanks
Just bought one great machine !!
Great review man!
I would put Montreal steak spice through a coffee grinder first. Some corns in it are like a pebble break a tooth.
Looks good !
Nicely done! Looks delicious! Thanks!
Looks so good. Thank you.
looks great
Wow looks fantastic sir 🤗

I love making ribeyes in the air fryer
Can I do 2 at a time? Would I need to add cooking time if cooking more than 1?
My advice to you:

Can u really use both sides at the same time?? I seen someone say that u cant the other side dosent start cooking till the first basket is done
Don't listen to them.

I have 2 basket 10q xl and the second basket you can't air broil

Looks great but I prefer rare.

Because you don't have...the exact same steak 😉
@@WaveOvenRecipes Exactly. The thickness of the steak has a lot to do has a lot to do with how long to cook.
How long for a medium rare please nom nom nom
You will need to try and use your best judgement.
Cook to 135 and let rest under foil to finish cooking
That is not my way, but you do as you enjoy. Although, you may want to research the effects of aluminum on the body further.
22 min in air fryer I can cook it faster in frying pan 4 min each side maybe 5 min to take all blood out of steak 🥩 all time 10 min
This was not to show you the fastest. It was to help those who use an air fryer. Long as the meat is edible it's all good.
Ok my love x
That poor steak deserved better. You should have gotten the interior to 125, taken it off and covered with foil for resting and it would continue it’s internal cooking up to a perfect 130-135.
He made it how he liked it, not how you like it. I mean you can make a video and show how you like it. 🤷♀️
It came out juicy..you like it too bloody.
He didn't want it that raw, and his steak looked great. Let's see your steak video.
You never rest red meat covered
Resting allows juices to return through the meat. The heat causes fluid to constrict into the meat. Resting makes for a juicier bite 🙂
This is about six months too late, but I think it’s time to get a new thermometer. It sounds like the calibration is off.
It is fine and calibrated. That's not it.
450 at air broil on a steak will give you a big piece of charcoal at that time. I tried and that's what I got. You are much better off using air fry at a lower temp.
Mine turned out fine 🙂
Consider the size, thickness and weight. My steak is not your steak.
Great video on how to ruin a ribeye.
It was great, you do your way. I can do my way while having respect for others.
That should have been ready in 8-9 min total
Thicker steaks take longer.
22m for a ribeye is just too long.
Do yours as you like, we all eat from our own table 🙂
Burned the hell out of it.
To each their own. I enjoyed it 🙂
@@WaveOvenRecipes hell yeah. Men eat well done meat.. Animals eat their meat rare. 🤣🤣🤣
Stop faking the funk, take them gloves off, dude cooking 1 steak with gloves on, stop capping, nice video thou 🤣
You do what you want in your kitchen, I paid for the gloves to use them 🙂.
Cremated
Was very good. I don't eat half cooked meat. Parasites are no joke.
Over cooked for me
Everyone has a preference 🙂
Medium rare is the only way to eat a steak .you nearly made it look like Donald trumps face . Leather!
Thank God you don't get to decide what anyone eats but yourself.
you want 125F
Uh, parasites don't die at low temps.
God sakes, for a steak just use a goddamn real grill with wood fire 🙄
