  • Killing a Cape buffalo with a poachers snare on his leg that has already killed at least one local villager is a true test of the Rugged X Team's skills!

    Anti-hunters don't realize how much the hunters help the locals by bringing in much needed funding when there's simply no economic program...

    There's a lot of hunting content on RUclips, but J Alain puts out some of the best. I enjoy seeing the old faces like Schalk throughout the years, and i love the mix of humor and action. Keep up the great work!

    As always a great video. Love the way you tell the complete story and don’t just show the killing.

    It's always a pleasure watching your videos, sir! I've filmed a few times in Uganda, been to those same airstrips and camps. This bring back memories!

    Your concern for these beautiful people shows your heart and I for one applaud your actions and care for these people. Alot of people don't understand the desperation and need that these people have. May God Bless you for your concern and care of these people.

    I love what ya'll are doing. It is a shame that the conditions are so bad for these people. I've know people that were able to go and help those people. But it's usually not enough to take care of their needs but even a little helps. Everything that church groups and other's are able to do always helps.

    Good job, professionally executed, Alain....A vital task that not only prevents further loss, but also endears the hunter to the local population.

    In 2018 I dropped a buff in Zambia with the same thing - a snare cutting deep into the rear left hoof. People don't realise that by their presence, hunters are also conducting anri-poaching patrols. On that same hunt we later caught a poacher, and scattered 3 or 4 others. We picked up their dropped gear and destroyed it all. 👍

    Hey Alian was that trip from this year or last year? I hope that meat was good enough to give to the villagers from where that person was from that was killed by that bull. By the way that didn't look like the Gunwerks rifle either

    Wow! Congratulations on taking out that poor old bull. I’d rather see him die on a charge as a healthy mature bull, but you did exactly what was warranted for the situation. Great video to learn from.. how to contribute to both the wildlife and the local community!!

    I watch your Videos on an on and this Episode showed how important wildlife conservation is!! How often do you hunt in Africa?? What is the best time, without tetsi's and what is the best country for Buffalo. Once in my life, i want to hunt a buffalo!

      I hunt a couple months a year in Africa. August thru end of September for most countries is best. Best and most expensive buff are found in Tanzania. Zambia and Zimbabwe and Mozambique are all good for buff. Uganda has very good Nile Buffalo. There is no escaping Tsetse flies...

    J. Allen, why do you like the .375 Ruger over the other. 375 choices?

    • @JAlainSmith
      @JAlainSmith  2 года назад +1

      I like them both equally. The 375 Ruger definitely has more horsepower and with a 300 gr. bullet performs really well.

    It's absolutely amazing how primitive these people live in this day-and-age. These are proud people that may not want to adjust to today's standards. Yet they do wholly deserve a good life with proper education and medical care.

    So the elephants are escaping from areas with no legal hunting into areas with legal hunting. Imagine that. I guess they know where they’re better off.
