Over the years, I still stop what I am doing, if possible, to watch your hunts. Always First Rate. Humor, seriousness, occasional imminent danger, that you manage perfectly. Thanks and please, keep these Outstanding videos coming on YT. Not a FB viewer, so this is my sole source for watching your videos.
I appreciate your channel and all the dedication that you and your crew have to make these excellent videos. You must have an incredible list of PH's that you've worked with over the years. Again, great video and story of the hunt! Take care and be well!

Hello again Alain. A successful hunt for your favourite animal, the cape +water buffalo family of buffalo's! Please let me know what rifle you had, and the cartridge and bullet. Thank you, Andrew, in Lviv Ukraine / waiting for European Roe Deer buck licences to be issued this year even though their hunting season started on May 1st this year!!!
don't mistake a lack of outward fear of humans with domestication lol... They're very big animals that travel in groups... and they know it. Go and see wild bovine anywhere in the world, and unless they have excessive hunting pressure, they pretty much all act like this; ie: they know they can rub you into the dirt if you get closer than they're comfortable with. Even domesticated cattle are dangerous in limited visibility/mobility situations, once watched a group of geese try and run some calves away from their nests... within a couple minutes, the herd descended, and there wasn't much left but ground-up goose lol, they'd been better off to let the calves get their drink and wander off. My closest experience to hunting bovine like this was when our smaller herd (which had bulls in it at the time, and the bulls were highly defensive), shoved one of them through a fence and walked out into a 50 acre corn field in mid August about 8 years ago. The cows had calves, the bulls had cows, and the corn is about 7-8 feet tall, and you can't see them, only hear them... the four of us trying to herd them back without one trying to kill you is interesting, to say the least. These Water Buffalo, Cape Buff, and American Bison are the same size as large breed cattle, but haven't had much, if any of the wild intuition bred out.
Hi Alain, again a great Video. Why didn't you shoot the injured/ill Buffalo that was seen on one of the szenes instead of the one you shot or additionally????
I would like your opinion Al, don't you think that most species of animals try to protect the big boys? My next trip to Africa will be to hunt your favorite. Thx for the great content 👍
No not really, most run away at the shot. There are some exceptions but I have found that other than buff and elephant most of the time the other males take off.
Edward, you make about as much sense as someone not liking football commenting on football videos. Do you deliberately look for stuff you do not like, only to comment on it? What a poor sod you must be then.

We got amazing water buffalo here, and as he said all free range, Alain did you get to hunt any other species while you where here?

I bet he's thankful that those trees are made to order at J. Alain Smith height, I'd be hitting my head everywhere if I went in there.

Such a big man you are not having a clue how conservation works.
How much money have you giving towards conservation? Oo $0? Shame
