I'm very glad to hear it I'm hoping you will find the same with todays video, though I've recorded it in a room with a little resonance, so it seems a little harsh by comparison.

Nice to see Bordeaux back in the rotation!

Rest assured it is never far from the rotation, but yes there have been a few other distractions of late - I'm hoping to post a tasting of Brane-Cantenac tomorrow...

Fantastic, your Bordeaux reviews are always very fascinating. Will you be reviewing the 2020s now that they’re coming to market?

Thank you! How would you compare 2019 Durfort and 2019 Brane Cantenac?
    Cheers,
    Thomas

Hi, tasted both these wines last year Here are the links to the Wine-Searcher web-page for the two wines (my note is the one described as an expert note, displaying above the vintage boxes near the top of the page) www.wine-searcher.com/find/durfortvivens+margaux+medoc+bordeaux+france/2019 and www.wine-searcher.com/find/brane+cantenac+margaux+medoc+bordeaux+france/2019 . Both wines really stood out at the tasting I attended. The Durfort Vivens is one of the best wines I've tried from this estate in years, but for me the Brane Cantenac's elegance, perfume and balance puts it ahead of the Durfort Vivens - both beautiful wines though!
