@@punisherprime The 3D one, however looks like it could have some funny moments for example in the trailer ( if I remember correctly) when one of the MOTU is saying they better be careful about the portal because they don't know what's on the other side... and the rest of the characters run through before she can even finish and she just sighs, shaking her head. I grew up on the OG He-Man, but I love that type of humor (Though I wish he still had to yell "I have the power!" AFTER transforming. I can just imagine the questions he'd get about why the heck he has to do that every time. Lol)

Skeletor is arguably the greatest fictitious villain of all time. I think he was the influence behind Freddy Krueger's charismatic one liners. Skeletor had tons of them.

@@typingcat Well, I definitely don't know, but I would guess that Oppenheim might be / have been a place somewhere, so his name could mean someone from Oppenheim. Although Heim means home and Oppen is similar to open and could be a dialect of öffnen I think someone that opens a home isn't a thing. 😂

I love that his Skeletor voice is only a slight variation of his normal voice. You can't unhear the "Skeletor" from his normal voice, besides just sounding more kind.
Veteran voice actors know not to create character voices that are too hard to sustain. Last year one of them told a story about how he went to an audition and was fooling around with a series of scratchy, over-the-top, menacing voices to psych himself up for the demo. The director unexpectedly walked into the sound booth, heard one of the voices, and said, "THAT'S IT! That's exactly the sound what we want!" The poor guy was stuck doing the same vocal-cord-damaging voice every episode for a 3-4 year run.
His normal voice sounded more like Man At Arms to me.
Frank Langella played an excellent skeletor, however, I was always disappointed he didn't speak in the iconic Oppenheimer voice. Alan, legend.

The mic does a lot too. I remember the first time HomestarRunner gave us some stuff recorded with higher quality mics (the music album, then later the telltale games and then the toons in the "oh people have high speed internet now, we can stop compressing the audio quite so hard" era

I got to attend a panel Alan Oppemheimer was at last year. He was an incredibly nice person and had the most interesting stories out of any other panel I attended.
