- Robb Pearlman grew up watching "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe." But it was only as an adult that he realized that behind Skeletor's purple-clad skull-like visage lurked a source of wit and wisdom to rival Mark Twain. Pearlman told InsideEdition.com that the cartoon villain can teach us a lot about "how to channel your frustrations into shaking your fists to the heavens." Pearlman collected the teachings of He-Man's arch-enemy in the new book "What Would Skeletor Do?" #InsideEdition
"But because he's evil, he never wins". That was the biggest fantasy element of the entire show.

That’s because Skeletor is usually portrayed as the rightful heir to the throne of Eternia, but tragic plot makes sure that he never gets to take the throne and becomes the master of evil instead.
In one episode Skeletor had two small children in his custody ( for reasons I cannot remember). Along their journey the Snow Beast appeared and Skeletor instantly and instinctively swept the little boy and little girl behind him , using his own body as a shield and then vanquished the beast and the children were safe. That is exactly the kind of behavior I expect from an arch evil character! Lol. Skeletor is pretty darn cool!

the strange thing about skeletor beeing the most evil thing ever is that he isnt all that evil sometimes he for example had greyskull in his hands multiple times but for some reason gave it up to save his minions i dont know if the most evil beeing in the universe would do that.
He understands the value of underlings, and that the wanting is better than the having. After he gains Greyskull's power... what then? He wins. It's boring after that.

It's nearly mind-boggling that mild-manner actor Alan Oppenheimer was the voice of such a nefarious character. He's a remarkable voice talent, indeed!
Skeletor has been more helpful with his advice than most of the RUclips and Google FAQ's that their support team refers everyone to when something goes wrong.

Why is it that every evil character is so much cooler than the "good guy" most of the time for example darth vader
they represent the shadow, that which we all instinctively want to be but were programmed and forced not to be by human order or society as a whole. civilization if you will. even though those in power channel nothing but their shadow into their actions.
Well, darth vader isn't inherently evil, he's a tragic character manipulated into being evil.

To me, Skeletor is like the classic psychopathic bad-guy leader, he tries to make great plans but he always overlooks small plan details that always lets He Man get the upper-hand, Skeletor always blames his failures on his henchmen instead of himself, often wondering why he surrounds himself with fools, here's an appropriate quote from Obi Wan Kenobi "Who is the more foolish, the fool, or the fools that follow him?".
