@@mrmaxaxl John Erwin
@@maxpops8427 But who did the voice John Erwin?
@@jbohnoff Erwin Johnson the III
He practically WAS that cartoon.
How did he keep all those voices separate?? That's some true talent!!
He will always be rememberd as the voice of skeletor. Perhaps one of the most iconic villains from the 80s
Wat?
And ever
FALKOR!!!
Gmork
of course he will be remembered as skeletor you royal boob
I genuinely love this man. I wrote him a letter, he sent it back with an addition saying how much he loved it. He also sent back a picture of my son I had sent for him to see, signed.
It is of my son eating dinner. He went through a phase for over a year where he would only eat if he had Skeletor with him.
Mr. Oppenheimer wrote “Skeletor says enjoy your meals!”
What a sweetheart to not only read but to reply to his fan mail. A rare breed.
Ahhh, back when "every voice actor on the planet" referred to exactly seven people.
?
Major voice actors, Mel, Daws, Don Messick, Casey , June, Paul Frees, Alan, and a few More. They were all Mentors to the many actors out today.
@tonycanabal1659 those as well as Bj Ward, Samantha Newark and Susan Blu
Mr. Oppenheimer was really part of my childhood. Some of the best cartoons.
Mine too "Bro".
Dude so famous that even the Soviet copied he's idea
Oh crap, I had no idea he was Falkor in Neverending Story! That’s awesome!
Dude is the voice of my childhood... I wish i could thank him. :)
gmork in neverending story....EPIC..still chilling 30 years later...
Hes definitly a legend made many people in the 80s 90s childhood
As of Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers 2022, we can now say that he voiced He-Man.
Great range and so many voices. When I was a kid and paid attention to voice actors I overlooked him, I think because his voice isn't as obvious as many others, which just shows how talented he is.
That's crazy the amount of character's voices he's done. Most of my favorite childhood cartoons
check out mark hamils voices
...Vanity Smurf... was voiced by the same guy who voiced Falkor? You just blew my mind.
Skeletor and Gmork as well!!
Father Time in the Smurfs as well. They didn't snow that one.
@Donnie Darko
What blows my mind is that Falkor was voiced by the same guy who voiced Skeletor. Like WTF?! :O
One of the first voice actors ever and indeed a champion of them! He basically voiced half of Filmation characters
Neverending story is a classic.
Anthony Cohn it’s now on Netflix 😊
Obviously
I will always remember him as Skeletor.
Man, I didn't realize this guys voice was in my head for my entire childhood! I had no idea he was this many characters. So cool!
He must've been a Filmation regular in his early years.
William Crowe he and Peter Cullen voiced all of Ghostbusters
@ uhh... John Earvin, anyone??
He was great as Primevil
Don’t forget about Outlaw Scuzz, Stampede, Professor Phantasmo from the 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo and Mr. Jingles from Scooby-Doo and the Reluctant Werewolf.
A voice from my childhood, that always bring back fond memories.
And, fun fact, Alan is a distant relation of Robert Oppenheimer!
Third cousins I believe
@@maximaldinotrap which was actually the reason why Shane Acker chose Alan Oppenheimer to Voice The Scientist in 9 over a big name actor for that specific reason
Wow I never knew Alan did the voice of Falcor. That's incredible
If you want to honor Alan check out the movie "9" is awesome.
He also voice Darren the Ancient Sleeper from Adventure Time.
I think mr. Oppenheimer is one of the few big 80s voice actors that's still gets work semi regularly, heck he's even slated to voice Moss Man in the new Netflix He-Man show coming out next year.
@@angelolavarria2762 oh really?
@@larniieplayz6285 yeah, and I'm really happy for that
Voice legend! And I met him as well, super nice guy! he also did Mr. Dithers in the Blondie & Dagwood specials if anyone besides me saw them! :D
It's insane to think all these voices came from the same person. Oppenheimer has impressive range.
Wow!!! I admire his talent!
Absolute god brings back so many memories
Let me take this oppurtunity to thank you Mr Oppenheimer for making my childhood awesome.

Neverending Story was my favorite movie when I was a kid and Falkor remains to this day one of my favorite characters ever. So imagine how excited I was to meet him last year at Tampa Bay Comic Con.
That’s awesome 😀 I haven’t seen The Neverending Story in decades. think I’m going to watch it tomorrow. It’s supposed to rain, it’ll be atmospheric. This has me amped!
Skeletor!!!!!!!
As a kid sometimes voices have a familiar ring, but you can't quite put your finger on it. It's cool how in some of the other voices Skeletor or Man-At-Arms peaks out every so often and with others are absolutely unique. A true talent
Alan Oppenheimer; the voice of so much joy in my mind.
*MMYEEEEEH!!*
Wow! Another Phil Hartman. Probably saved them a lot of money being able to do all those different voices.
The desperation Alan showed in Westworld as his character along with crew were about to perish was terrifying.
Falcor was my favorite voice he did
It was cool meeting him at LexCon 3 years ago
Filmation Legend!
And he’s still alive damn 92 yrs old n still kicking
He has also appeared in shows like Get Smart and Knight Rider.
Skeletor is Falcor. XD
So when he voiced King Grayskull in 2021, he was channeling Man-at-Arms AND Skeletor. Well done sir.
Beachcomber and Seaspray he also voiced in Transformers
nobodysperfect06 given credit to the same guy who voices Merman, I'll tell you that much. I agree with you on this.
Multi talented! Wow and I remember all those characters.
He was also Ming the Merciless in Flash Gordon.
Yes! I remember Ming the Merciless and Skeletor sounding the same.

That Tarzan Lord Of The Jungle voice sounds like Alan Rickman.
I totally agree with you Ferval !...he sounds exactly like Alan Rickman.....:-)
LoL.... I love it!!!! I'm a kid again!
I can do his He-Man voices! I learned from the best! Mel Blank as well.
Chuffing hell what a great range of voices xd hats off to the man 🎩✨🔮
There was an episode of The Smurfs where they had to team up with Gargamel in order to get a book back from a troll. The troll sounded like Skeletor after he had sucked helium. Did Alan Oppenheimer do the voice of the troll in that episode. Smurfs episode: The Fountain of Smurf.
Falcor is by far my favorite!
If papyrus ever gets voice lines this guy better do them or heads will drop
yes yes yes
Just a small tip bit, in Adventure time he played Darryl the Sleeping Giant.
Myaah !!
"Nothing moves the blob." Where'd go?" 😂 👏
He was also the main villain on Bravestar called Stampede .
He was also Handlebar, and Skuzz in addition to Stampede.
My goodness, all these years I thought he had just voiced Vanity Smurf! This guy was as talented as Mel Blanc!
I think Mel was in his own class by himself.
@@scottashe984 Yes, Mel probably did do even more voices
He's Like A Timeline
I knew all the voices were like one guy!!
He should’ve had a cameo in Shazam he was the OG Dr Sivana!
One of my heroes this legend made my childhood awsome Saturday morning will nvr be the same again let's pray a cool young guy gets a channel and started re running and producing more new awsome content we need a hero to save the dead cartoon days cgi isn't the same inspector gadget looks like he's on acid it's hilariously bad

Wow...I had no idea that he was basically the Mel Blanc of the Masters of the Universe...thats crazy he did all those voices
I didn't know he had 2 roles in Fraidy Cat.
Now I know why I thought all the cartoons had the same sounding voice when I was a kid........BECAUSE THEY ACTUALLY "WERE ALL THE SAME".........hhhhmmmmm
He also voiced in Big O.
Him and Mel Blanc goat's.
He also voiced Beachcomber and Seaspray in The Transformers.
Jacob Turner yeah, and the fun thing is that both Seaspray and Merman are both voiced by him too.
And Warpath
Wow this guy was amazing, how did he keep them separate??? And he is in every cartoon I liked wowser!!!
I like to see him. Did he come to Seattle?
Oppenheimer also voiced warpath and breakdown
