    Made the potatoe fritters with sausage in batter. Oh my. Extra half hour on the rowing exercise machine tonight. So good!

    My mum used to call the scallops and did them in a frying pan but she made them thinner and dipped them in batter, lovely crunchy salt and vinegar with a fried egg and peas 😍

      I personally think they’re too thick as well. My dad used to make them he was the best fritter maker,

    I remember eating this at Australia's Fish 'n' Chip shop, along with steamed Dim Sims; they call it a potato cake. I don't recall if they boil the potato first.

    I used to enjoy fritters which could be bought frozen at many supermarkets. Unfortunately they no longer seem to make them.

    I make deep fried potatoes like this. No batteries though just a dusting of flower on cold boiled potatoes and deep fry them for 15 to 20 minutes, jam them all into the fryer.
    Salt & vinegar to season.
    Mmmmm crunchy outsides and nice and soft insides.
    I've tried the oven but roasted potatoes are sometimes too dry in the oven. Deep fry them until they ate golden brown and you'll be surprised ☺

    Lot of waste when he butchered that big spud.I hate wasting food,but love making scallops.He made hard work O'this.

    Everybody else calls em scollops, just another thing before you put them in the batter coat them in flour first.

      Yes I know it was in my early videos , have fixed it now . I was not very experienced at editing back then. I’m a bit annoyed at it my self . Not much I can do about them now :-(

    If you used a proper potatoes peeled you would have got four slice's.And no show of batter making.Boiled the potatoes for to long.Drrrr.
