This woman is AMAZING. She cant hear at all but still can speak SO clearly. She is a living miracle!! I'm so glad she can now hear.

She really is. Sometimes if there was a time where they could hear their own voice they sound quite clear. What a beautiful woman❤️

A friend's little girl had clipped speech. We advised her mum to take her for a hearing test. The person who did the test said she was just ignorant. I asked her mum what did she think in heart. Her mum said she thought something was wrong. I said that she should follow her heart because she knew her child the best. Turns out the child was profoundly deaf. She had the cochlear implant and my greatest delight was hearing her practice the word bucket to herself as she was carrying the bucket. She now lives a normal life. God Bless.

My mom is completely deaf and has always said she does not care if she hears our voice because she knows our sign voice. Hearing aids don't work for her but they do with my dad, he is hard of hearing, and she honestly does not want one. Most of the deaf community doesn't support cochlear implants because it is shown as trying to escape or that you are not proud of the deaf community. But the people that are comfortable with it I am so proud of. Obviously everyone's different and you just have to figure out what works for you, it's amazing she was able to hear.

Lovely. Not all of us want to hear but for those that want to, its a great thing. Many of us use sign language and hearing aids without wanting to get a ci, many arent eligable, but it is frightening sometimes. I do well with sign and my hearing aid but for those of us who would benefit, it makes me so happy. Im getting all emotional watching

@@rain_l honestly no one who is disabled wants you to say or think that. It's sooooo hard and it is honestly so rude for you to say that. We go through daily struggles that you definitely don't want to go through. Please don't say that again. I know you did not want to come across like that but you just have to be careful about what you say.

many people who are hearing impaired sound like that. It is because many of them can't hear the proper way to speak and only a few were able to have speech classes.
