Welcome to my I Left My Heart In San Francisco solo guitar lesson! I've reharmonized this great tune. I'll explain all the I Left My Heart In San Francisco guitar chords one by one and why I chose them or their subs. You'll also learn how to weave the melody in between for a great chord melody arrangement.
I've made the I Left My Heart In San Francisco gutiar tab, which you can download from the link above. I've also made a backing track, so you can start right away. But you can also play I Left My Heart In San Francisco solo guitar. You don't need a band for this. So either way you'll have great fun with this une.
By the end of this lesson you'll know how to play I Left My Heart In San Francisco on guitar.
I'll explain everything in detail and you can follow along easier with the TAB.
This one isn't exactly the I Left My Heart In San Francisco Tony Bennett guitar lesson, because I've reharmonized some of the original chords. This makes the melody appear more interesting and makes it jazzier.

Great lesson today - you covered a lot of informative ground, Sandra… chord and tritone subs, neapolitan chords, lots of insights… and, presented as only you can, with grace and a smile! I love Tony, and I’ll always associate his impeccable style and voice with this tune. Who better to bring it to us than you?! Well done! Hi Sandra. Thank you so much for this imformation packed lesson. It really contains a wealth of content. For someone like me who has for years been greatly intrigued and even more greatly confused by the sophisticated chord sequences found in jazz music, this video goes a very long way to demystifying it all. So thank you sincerely for all your long hours of work and dedication to "the cause".
I am curious as to whether this is the first lesson you have recorded in your new premises? I hope you are happy, comfortable and enjoy being there and that it enhances your worklife.
I wish you a belated happy new year.

Thank you for the clear explanations of your choices for reharmonisations. Like others, I really value understanding the reasons behind the interesting chord choices made. These excellent explanations take the lessons behind just rote learning a series of notes to understanding the building blocks that come together to make a great arrangement.
