Hi Andy, just want to say , I love the way teach without making it so confusing! Question do u count in your head when playing the phrase over each chord? I have a hard time hearing when the chord changes! Thanks 🙏
@@satchrules101Counting will definitely help when you are learning the tune or the chord progression. I don't count so much as I am used to feeling when 4 bars pass. I find it helps to just play the rhythm guitar part for a few minutes before attempting the licks. It'll help you internalize the time. Good luck!
Thanks for this! You make it look so easy. I'm a rock lead guitarist who's mystified by jazz. I'm studying the altered scale to try to understand jazz and your video will be very helpful.
A set of chords to simply apply and learn a great deal. They sound great too. Gently and patiently does it and in time other listeners likewise will be equally impressed. Thank you Andy.
Loved that you show the chords, voicings & all the info clearly with an elegant presentation and a Clean Guitar. Nice lightning and angles but what's more important is the delivery of the content and its quality. Thank you so much!! Will check all your videos.
this is great playing, you've got lovely phrasing. And I love the way you conduct the lesson, most people before they play a note they talk and talk for hours. The way you do it is great, thanks Andy 👍
This is so good. The chords you have chosen really opens up my eyes for making a melody that aims for the flat 9 and sharp 5 to create tension before moving over to the more melodic parts. Fab! Thanks 😊
everything about your channel is first rate; production values, editing, content, playing, tone, ideas. all amazing. I seriously don’t know how you do it!
Best teacher I have seen in a long long time🙏🏻don’t mind me “steal” some of the tasty ideas🙏🏻 superb video and teaching qualities, please keep on doing this
Thanks for the lesson! This is great material, helping me connect the dots and get it all under my fingers and in my ears. Your efforts here are greatly appreciated. Big thanks from Wisconsin!
Andy thank you sir...for making me a better guitar player....this is the sound I love ...I play a bit of gypsy swing so just love Birelli..and like you im a big Carlton fan...thank you.
Hi, I'd liké to download the full notes tab but the link goes to a drobox file, not to a guitar pro one and it's only about the altered chord tab. Could you add the full guitar pro tab in the description ? Thanks a lot for your Amazing job !
So smooth. I think you are a robot using AI. Could you miss a note and swear for us mere mortals so we know you are human. As always your stuff sounds great. Thanks!
Hi Bjarne - I use the Line 6 Helix for the tones in my videos. I usually use the Mesa Boogie Lonestar as the amp model. After that, the usual suspects - reverb, compression, and a stereo delay.

Just curious if you’re using the Helix for this or not. If so, what amp model are you using. Sounds great.
Hi Patrick - yes, I use the Helix. The model is the Cali Texas Ch 1. It's here: andydacoulis.com/product/648072
