Important Update: We no longer recommend the Tineco A11 because it failed a new test we added in 2024 - our flour clog test. See our latest recommendations here: www.consumeranalysis.com/guides/cordless-vacuums/best-cordless-vacuum/
I know right! Actual testing and comparison vs glorified infomercials from people who haven't even bought any of the products, sprouting specs they read on a website.
Thank you for this round-up review. Your original review of the A11 persuaded me to buy it. It's simply a fantastic vacuum cleaner! It's well built and with the correct attachments it does an outstanding job on both hard floors and carpets. I've had no real need to use the boost feature, so unlike a Tesla in hyper mode I have no battery anxieties! It's a dream 🇬🇧
I have the A11 master, I’m very glad I went with this instead of the overpriced dyson. It’s a beast, plenty of power, loads of accessories, well built and over 40 mins on one battery.
The reviews were very straightforward! I'm looking for an easy-to-use cordless vacuum cleaner. The other day I also reviewed the cordless vacuum cleaner with a video. I will come to play again. With love from Japan :)
Having used stick cordless vaccums for years, I have these points to make: 1) The new 'bag at the handle' design is complete boob bait. Its not ergonomic lugging around all the weight at the top of a long stick, and having no weight at the brush end to grip the floor. Sadly all the new models appear to be coming out like this. 2) You must have led lights at the brush end to see the dust. You'd be amazed at what you miss. 3) DC plugins are also made-to-break. The fragile, wiggly socket goes out in a year or so rendering the vaccum to the trash heap. You want a charging cradle. Sadly, almost all the new designs now have those confounded circular DC plugs. 4) 2-in-1 is a must, and a rotating/powered hand brush attachment also to get pet hair off furniture 5) No endlessly throwing money away replacing funky disposable filters. A single washable, perferrably stainless steel filter is the way to go. 6) All that said, I have been looking for months for a stick vac with all 5, the Holy Grail in the $100-$150 range. Seems nonexistent, if anyone knows of one let me know. The Eureka Ergorapido was it, but of course now discontinued.
Seems like you also know your stuff. Question: You say that at 2-in-1 is a must, but to achieve that you need the 'bag at the handle' method. No? Did you find your Eureka Ergorapido used anywhere? I'm sure it will come if you set enough alerts.
@@nickburak7518 nope the Ergorapido was the best, also had filters you can spring 'pop' to clean them. Weirdly you can only find them for outrageous prices now, though I got mine years ago for only around $100. Hate bag-in-handle vacs. Dumbest design ever
I know that a good corded bag vacuum is going to be more powerful than a cordless stick. The question is have cordless vacs become good enough for most people. For 3 years I always backed up my Shark IONFlex with a more powerful Rocket. A few days ago I received a new Shark Vertex cordless and after using It a few times I feel confidant that this machine is all I need. I gave the Rocket to a neighbour. Even though I live in a small studio apartment I would feel confidant using this as my main vacuum in a small to medium size home although I would pick up an extra battery for that.
Excellent review! You are straight up with the facts, then you give your overall opinion! You can’t ask for much more than that! Great job and thank you!
2:40 - Bravo! That is a REAL test and shows how the Dyson pulls ahead in normal use vs. how the Shark’s fall back. I have the F80 and at high power, I think it picks up worse than my Dyson on low power
I agree I bought one before finding him. Taking it back now that I've found him. As I've tried to do research but this is so much easier to find the best unit. Thank you!
Wow! Your reviews are far more informative than others I’ve watched. I did purchase the Tineco A11 Master last year after i watched a couple other reviews and like it very well. A month or so after I bought mine my daughter bought the Dyson V11 Torque Drive and for a moment i feared I’d made a poor choice once i used hers. But it didn’t last long once i knew the purchase price!
Dyson in the top 3 that's why i bought the V15 detect and the fact my 20 year old Dyson DC-02 never broke down and is still in perfect working order minus the cord retractor lock that broke on the third use
5:05 not only is it important for the vac to have a post hepa filter, but it's also important that the vac has a sealed system. Because u can have the hepa filter. But if the vac isn't sealed due to poor seals throughout the vacuum body, the microscopic dirt will leak back to the outside air you breathe. Also who wants to breathe in the dirt the vac has picked up?
EXCELLENT JOB! I’m a scientist and was THRILLED to see the clearly defined “study” 👍🏽 done on such a mundane but INESCAPABLE topic! Great job. Thank you for the work you all put into this.
So basically the results @12:06 should read and in order Dyson V8 22 8.5 Dyson V7 21 7.5 Dyson V10 23 6 Tineco A11 21 6.25* you have to swap the battery You can get all those Dyson vacuums above at a good price. The Dyson that comes with the soft brush head of the absolute version. The V7 absolute & v8 absolute are regularly available 350 and under. V10 absolute around 450 and under. The Tineco is still a $400 vacuum.
The results for the A11 are for a single battery. If you were to swap batteries on the Tineco its total runtime on high power would double to 25 minutes.
Excellent video. I researched and this vid helped a ton. Clicked like , clicked subscribed , and even ordered through your link. Much appreciated and can't wait to try this! Cheers ! 👍😁🍺
I would think airflow and suction would amount to better pick up but in the ratings of pick up for example a lower airflow of 25 from a Bissel scores higher in pick up then another bissel that scores much lower in airflow! So which should be the determing factor? Airflow and suckion or pickup? I am looking for an an inexpensive one for my daughetr. I have always bought Bissel upright regular vacuums and they have better pickup then my old customers disons ect and I used to own a cleaning service! they leave insane track marks!! Always impressed my customers with it!
Is the A11 Master+ sold anymore? Both links for the A11 Hero and Master+ take you to the A11 Hero. It is not even possible to individually buy the A11 Hero and Soft Roller Power Brush as it doesn't appear as Tineco sells the Soft Roller Power Brush separately on Amazon anymore.
I bought the Tineco A11 Hero and the amazon reviews should’ve warned me not to. The company will try to send you more attachments to make you miss your refund deadline. Then they say they will refund you 80% if you remove your review.
What about if you have a hard floor and need to pick up hairs as well as debris/ dirt ? what type of vacuum head is good ? Can you also do a review of the Philips and Tefal Cordless Vacuum Cleaner ? Thanks!
Great video. Helped me a lot . One thing I am interested in but barely ever mentioned in revues is the storage. I'd like to have hanging storage and loading station. Does the test winner come with a hanging bracket ?
The A11 Hero does come with a dock you can mount on the wall. The A11 Master+ comes with a floor dock, though this model is now discontinued it appears.
Hi....can you suggest me whether it is good to use vaccum and mop together....also suggest me which brand is the best to use both vaccum and mop in india
I have bought 2 dyson's. The first one had a problem with charging and the battery failed. I had to send it back 2 times to the factory to be repaired and then they just payed me back because they had to recall that model. The new one i bought I had for little over a year and has now broken. The plastic in the handle just gave in and broke while i was using it. I did not expect this from a Dyson product with a price like that... very disappointing. I would love to hear results about overall durability of vacuums, something can have all the best features and be broken because of cheap plastic within a week.
I stopped recommending Dyson to all my friends after ConsumerReports pulled Dyson from their list due to massive complaints of durability problems. ConsumerReports has not added Dyson to their list still and Dyson pretends they don’t have any problems. They break fast and repair service is an expensive nightmare.
Wow- great considerations and aspects that we have homeowners never really get o know. I agree with others- this is great, true real world applications. Science, real world and practicality of the products don’t matter unless they have their fave people review in an un realistic use environment. Thank u for true product testing info and review!
No actually, one of the most important things is how it is to live with. Most cordless stick model vacuum cleaners require loads of maintenance. Wheels get stuck with dirt and hairs, vacuum heads need regular cleaning and the attachment parts need replacement due to the parts losing contact by the way they are used.
Do you have a test that includes the shark vertex pro? I know it's impossible to test every vacuum but it's at the top of my current list so I thought I'd ask.
The most important attribute of any vacuum is the ability to pick up long hair(12"+) without wrapping it around the roller! You do not test for this!! Dyson are not very effective LG are good! Could you try this for the Tineco A11 please??
DOnt buy expensive dysons.Go cheap and upgrade in 2 years again with something cheap..,. in 2 years much better vacuums will be cheaper because of the big competition.

Commenting for the algorithm. This guy is the absolute goat of Consumer Product Reviews.
Thank you very much for the support. I really appreciate it!

Wish you would also include Karcher VC 4s in a future review.

It’s interesting that the tineco performed poorly in independent Australia consumer testing but here it’s number 1
