Team Fortress 2 (TF2) is a team-based multiplayer first-person shooter video game developed and published by Valve. It consists of nine classes, Scout, Soldier, Pyro, Demoman, Heavy, Engineer, Medic, Sniper, and Spy, and two teams, Red and Blu. The teams try to take the others' objective, such as an intelligence brief case, or a control point.

CORRECTION: The spy moves at 107% movement speed. I went back and checked and I had this right in my notes so I don't know how I screwed that up lol
can u shake it
Probably remembered the old movement speed, he was buffed a while back
@@andrewwu1527 i guess they buffed him so that he can stab the meds a bit easier
1. Join a game
2. Select any class
I never thought of it like this!
Life hack you’ve saved me so much time
Thank you so much! You summarised everything perfectly.
Funniest tf2 player.
Pick what’s needed
the timing of this upload couldn't be any more perfect, since i started playing this game for the first time yesterday
Welcome to the fam :)
welcome! (i dont play tf2 anymore bc my acc got scammed)
best game been playin' 17 years now i'm old
@ damn u good?
You're too late, give up.
i love how on every class video everyone praises the medic in hopes people start playing it more.
謝謝你還願意推廣及介紹這史詩般的遊戲,希望它還能夠回到以前那光榮的時刻!
Another tip for Heavy, Random crits also feel extremely bullshit cause it turns you from the "tank" class to the "I'm your bitch" class. One good crit pipe or crocket just kills him. Heavy already needs to deal with spies and snipers one shotting him. The enemy classes don't need rng to take him down.
remove random crits in casual
And that shit is incredibly funny every time. They should remove random bullet spread to make it more fair tho. :)
@@scarybroccoli remove casual
Heavy is already barely a tank with how easily Snipers, Spies, Soldiers and Demos(splash damage and 100 damage pipes means not needing to fight him head on) bully him, but random crits especially fuck him over.
@@jblazerndrowzy it's mostly just a problem with sniper tbh. every other problem-class can still be played around like a Meet-the-Heavy-heavy if you do it smartly
Slightly early Christmas gift? I'll take it
Finally, now b4nny might win a grand final
I’ve always wanted to hear a scout explanation from you. Thank you;
I would enjoy an exhausted scout guide!
One day brocolli will release the 12 hour phenomena of explaining every class in-depth on a single video, rivaling the badwater-12-hour-video
Woah. This is a great christmas gift
Loving the Hotline Miami soundtrack in the background
The only thing I think you could have mentioned without going off on a tangent was that going underwater leaves the spy dripping as well. Very good video I'll show this to anyone who wants to learn TF2.
26:13 YES! YEEEES! He mentioned the scottish resistance! My life is complete
Tip for heavy: You can surf soldiers rocket to jump away, or jump in to cut the distance
holy moly, what a gem to wake up to- excited for this one
hotline miami music, a pleasant suprise. good video for beginners, otherwise not much to get out of it, but it's good simple stuff like this exists.
Thank you for describing how powerful crit heals are, we med mains appreciate it
It would be fantastic to see more videos like this, you should definitely do a how-to on the subclasses
Thank you for mentioning the Soldier's Shotgun and its ability to quickly burst down low health classes comboed with a rocket. Not many people mention this unique advantage to Soldier's Shotgun that makes him very dangerous at close range!
some of these frags are unbelievable
honestly the best educational tf2 youtuber keep up the amazing work
I absolutely adore this vid but I do have to say that I wouldn't fully discount the syringe guns. I 100% agree that most times the crusader's crossbow is insanely good supportively as you've said and isn't awful for self defense but with a little practice with the awkward projectile speed the syringe guns are surprisingly good to keep yourself alive. (OD speed boost or blutsauger healing) Sometimes you can straight up kill whoever was jumping you! 100% agree there's no reason to use stock though.
8:31 "You rarely get kills spaming rockets at long range" * proceed to melt down a team from half the map away*
Great general but detailed breakdown, i have thousands of hours on record but I still learned something expecially about how quicker or slower medic can heal teammates and build uber.
One thing: i think a fully overhealed and spin up heavy with natasha or brass beast can survive a sniper fully charged headshot
As someone with 1000+ hours im still gonna watch this
Great vid! Haven't played TF2 in a year, this has motivated me to get back into it (Btw love the Hotline Miami OST)
great video although id argue medic isn't the strongest class. He certainly is the most important class, especially in even skill settings (comp) since he's literally the life support of your team, keeping all the powerful damage dealers alive. But he's not the strongest since not only he has near 0 combat/self defense abilities, his effectiveness is also entirely dependent on his team's competence. You can be the best medic in the world but if your teammates suck, you're still very likely to lose the game even if the other team doesn't have a medic, you'll just be delaying the inevitable by prolonging the life of your team, kinda like if a person is caught with a terminal illness, not even the best doctor can save him from certain death, they can only give him conservative treatments to prolong his life. In tf2, I like to think of medic as the multiplication sign in the sense that if your team is a big number (super strong and coordinated), medic will absolutely carry his team to victory, but if his team a small number (scatterbrained and/or with bad mechanical skills), he wouldn't be able to carry his team far and if his team is 0 (completely lacking any game sense/skills), there's nothing he can change as you still get 0 by multiplying 0. You certainly can disagree but I personally consider strong and important as 2 different things. My definition of "strong" in tf2 means that you can handle combats independently and you are able to thrive in a huge array of settings, by this definition classes like scout, soldier, demo and sniper will be the strongest. As for "important", it just means how big an impact you can play on a team, and in this sense, medic certainly takes the crown.
I think you're a little deep in the weeds here. Having a medic makes your team much more likely to win the game (moreso than any other class) so he's the strongest.
I mean sure, a good medic doesn't amount to much when his team is terrible. I get what you are saying. Generalists like scout and soldier have more dominion over a game than a medic due to the nature of their kit. That being said, when I am discussing game balance I am assuming that all parties are competent, and when both teams are competent medic is just the best. A great example is one I pointed out in the video: the amount of healing a single medic can output is basically always going to be more than the other teams top fragger can deal. No class limits in pubs, so multiply that by two or three and you get a team with roughly 40% more health. Also ubercharge. Medic just has so much more impact on the game relative to all the other classes. When discussing balance I believe that a certain level of competency needs to be assumed otherwise people can come to crazy conclusions about what is good (see other TFtubers thinking demoknight is overpowered for example).
@ yeah I did say that medic is super important in equal skill settings tho, especially in comp where ppl know what they’re doing
Peak video to end the year. Merry Christmas!
Charging up the viewers for some Red vs Blu violence w/ Hotline Miami music
29:08 YOOOOO I'M IN THE VIDEO!!! DREAM COLLAB. hope you find yourself doing well broccoli
love the hotline miami music
Great video, liked the use of Hotline Miami music as well, keep it up
hey scarybroccoli, you should make a tutorial on positioning. I have like 3k hours on tf2 now and its basically one of the most important skills to learn that nobody talks about. you can basically lockdown a part of the map as heavy no skills required if you play your positioning right (not like sniper). you can rotate a portion of the map as pyro/scout to have an extra line of defense at the flanks and many more!
This video do serves as a great guiding to learn every class at their base level. Hope you'll work on the subclasses !
Something that always bugs me about any engineer guide (esp generalized ones) is the total lack of emphasis on the shotgun and how strong of a tool it is. Shotgun aim and 1v1 survivability is what separates good engineers from bad engineers (i would almost argue more than high level building management)
banger video very well made, if I ever need to introduce a friend to tf2 I would refer them to this video
really solid guide. would recommend to others 👍
wish all yt-ers make tutorials clear as u do
This is very, very informative and helpful. I don’t play and never played TF2 but I play its main Roblox counterpart (A game called “Typical Colors 2”) and the play styles are very similar. I agreed to a lot of points on this topic as I have experienced and done them myself a lot of times in playing through all the classes in TC2. Thank you, and keep cooking! 💯🎄🎅
telling new players to use lunchbox is straight evil 😂
great video lad
This made me realize why tf2 players want a heavy update so badly
I hope you know that i appreciate your content
I quit this game since its so difficult using WASD since im new to computer but i decided to try again and learn characters and just get used to WASD
just keep trying. you'll get confident fast. its worth learning WASD.
the game is hard but if you start off playing smart and retreating a lot and learning to stay alive rather than get kills you'll thrive.
I struggled for a long time when I started playing tf2 back in 2016. It was my first PC first person game, and I was used to controller. My biased opinion is that tf2 is by far the most satisfying shooter on the market, and the struggle was worth it.
bonus ducks for the hotline miami ost
Great music taste
NEW PEEK DROPPED 💪
happy chrimbeve, SB, finding your channel was one of the highlights of my year (yes ik how sad that sounds (i do NOT have a life outside of this game))
Beside the very good video
Using Hydrogen by MOON as a soundtrack is an intellectual move 💯
I Love the hotline Miami theme lol
Hi I'm new to this game, is it worth buying the class item packs in the shop and also is there anywhere on youtube that gives a good explanation on each unlock for each class? Good video btw :D
Weapons in TF2 drop randomly when playing, and are worth about half a cent. Do not buy weapons from the Mann Co store! I don't think any of the hat/cosmetic class bundles are worth it either. You can rent items out from the mann co store to try them without paying for premium. If you want to upgrade to a premium account, I believe the best way is to buy a single mann co. supply crate key. You can use this key to get a bunch of backpack space and every single weapon in the game from scrap.tf
I am not aware of a single video that talks about every single unlockable weapon (there are a lot). There are certainly individual videos for each weapon though.
@scarybroccoli ah ok thanks a lot! I was hoping there were specific videos for each class where someone explains each weapon but thanks :D
Asking this out of curiosity, but do you use any configs or mastercomfigs or whatever? Do you have high end gpu/cpu, a lot of ram? It looks like you are running on max settings judging from how the game looks (which I do myself), but you never seem to go below 200 frames. I will usually end up with anywhere from 60-200s for frames, depending on what is happening. I just started using a decent master comfig set up, but that hasn't shown much change yet.
Right after typing this, I saw a dip in frames to about 134, but that is still very good for TF2 frames. Still curious about how to get to those level of frames without compromising the look of TF2.
A video dedicated to gamesense could be interesting
SPY GAMING
Why is the powerjack in the series of healing unlocks?
25 health on kill
52:29 ah yes, SAP THE SNIPER!
no axtinguisher?? or really anything about combo pyro.
Me watching the 30th guide of scout that says the same thing about movement and double cap time
44:31 55:35 sick clips
Nice guide 👍
37:37 nice
Good video.
How about making a guide for shotgun soldiers?
I'd love to see a video on shotgun heavy tactics. In general we need more videos on how to use the shotguns!
What is this video about?
I like sniper but since I’m brand new I usually get one lucky headshot then get kicked after getting called a bot and I have no idea how to unlock chat so I can’t defend myself
cool video, do you want to do some 1v1s
Great soundtrack
how to avoid self damage when rocket jump?
Me whos played thousands of hours since 2011
hmmm yes interesting interesting
might need to mentor u on pyro.... u kinda buns......
guide on casual/ scrim community server pocket shotgun soldier with and without medic?
50:25 typo he has 107% speed
hey what pc do you have??
Yeah this is a pretty good video, clearly they know what they're talking about considering this footag- THEY/THEM PYRO YEESS
,1 ,2 ,3 ,4 ,5 ,6 ,7 ,8 ,9
this vid might like hotline miami soundtrack a bit... too much
i rate this video. i did something similar for overwatch tanks recently, enjoy the watch time and december ad revenue bossman
click on the enemy. (unless you are the medic. then you click on your freinds.)
why does your TF2 not look like mine?
Do you have a discord Server?
What do I do as medic if my team is bad
Just do your best. In the context of pubs solo carrying is sometimes just impossible because its 12v12, so just do your best and have fun.
Thx for the gift
