@@iamdmc I loved it. Rooms were small but offered just what I needed, central located in inverness. The restaurant was overpriced so I would get meals elsewhere.
That staircase was the inspiration for the one on the Titanic, as the shipyard owner used to stay at the hotel on his way to London from his Highland estate.( It was the station hotel then ) Or so the story goes
Inverness Castle will be closed until 2024/25 as its being transformed into a cultural and tourist destination "the spirit of the Highlands" multi million pound investment which will transform offerings in Inverness and the Highlands. But don't let that put you off visiting the most beautiful Capital of the Highlands there's still so much to see there and beyond ✊🏻❤️🏴
How did you find the hotel? Been thinking of booking it but it has some bad reviews about being very dated and dirty. It's about 120/night for the dates in April I need it which is also quite expensive
Inverness is a beautiful town itself. However you can also take day trips to Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle, Eilean Donan Castle, Isle of Skye from Inverness. This was the reason for us to stay there.
So glad I came across your video. I am staying at that hotel for my trip to Inverness.
Glad to hear that 😊 hope you had a wonderful stay

How is the cost of living here?
You can get standard hotel room from around €60
@@MeemsTravelHive that’s very reasonable.
Video
Over half the video is of the Hotel and the room for a video about Inverness. Should be more of the city
Thanks, I will keep that in mind 😊
