It was very silly, and I enjoyed it. My mum was English and could not appreciate Monty Python. How are they generally regarded - are most people too stiff-arsed to understand it? That woudl surprise me. I hope y'all aren't all like Mum's family - lol
As a British scientist, I can guarantee you that these depictions are 100% authentic. And for your information, "bloody 'ot, i'n it!" are exactly the same words I use whenever I arrive in Houston from London! 🤣 Brilliant SNL sketch! ❤❤❤
I have to admit, I don't understand this sketch. They're all just speaking normal British to me. That's how all of my friends from Liverpool sound like.
If you are talking about unfrozen caveman lawyer, that was much funnier than this. Phil Hartman was one of the best cast members. Maya is also one of my favorites, but this skit just doesn't come close. I also think Ego is a good comedic actress and probably will (or should) be on a show at some point.
A page of "Drake's the type of guy to..." jokes hit that funny bone trigger for me a couple days ago and I couldn't stop laughing until I was choking and fighting for air...you just never know 😅
I laughed for many minutes after this was over. It may be the funniest thing I've ever seen on SNL, and I'm old. Don't know how it sounds to Brits, but it's close enough for us Yanks to totally crack up. And the Frenchie in the beret at the end is the cherry on top. Onh-honh-honh (if that's how you'd spell it).
And I thought Yanks could not do a decent British accent, finally you on SNL of all places have found a British accent that sounds and feels 100% authentic. Great sketch!.
I’m a Brit tired of seeing Americans do bad British impressions and jokes. This was brilliant 🤣. The way Americans say “innit” with an upwards inflection will never stop being funny to me 🤣🤣🤣. Quality sketch.
Surprisingly excellent sketch. Also this is the first time I've seen Bowen play a character that isn't the same one he plays every single time in the exact same way.
Live from Old York it’s Saturday night! With musical guest, The Rolling Stones. (It’s just four cavemen rolling a rock on stage) And your host, a Giant Sloth.
