    The CSC looks different because of the new clutch actuator elbow. They changed it for some time to adresa the "low pressure clutch pedal" incident

      hi, and thanks for watching and commenting if you haven't already hit that subscribe button and have a great day yea the first CSC cylinder was wrong we got a school one in the end wi h was perfect the clutch itself was a genuine vauxhall part psa on the box wich is peugeot group and it also had gm stamped on it and sachs so sachs made the clutch for general motors then they were taken over bye the psa group lol 😆

    Hello, How did you purge it? When the car is hot, I have to press the clutch pedal twice to put a gear, can that be air in the system ? Thanks !

      hi, and thanks for watching and commenting. If you haven't already hit that subscribe button and have a great day, it could be air, but without seeing the car, I would only be guessing. Try bleeding it again and see what happens

      I have the same issue, got the circuit purged but still happens. On my local shop they told me to replace the whole clutch if it remains. What did you do? (118K kms 1.4T here)

      @churrinification Hi, and thanks for watching and commenting if you haven't already hit that subscribe button and have a great day replaced with a genuine vauxhall clutch, which was all that was available at the time but although it came in a Gm box it had GM STAMPED ON IT BUT ALSO SACHS lol so sachs made it for gm wish is now owned bye the psa group lol Hope that helps have a great day

    Is this 1.6 diesel Astra K? Also does it need a special tool to fit new clutch and flywheel.

      I would need to check on the k so many astras. lol, it is only available from vauxhall, and it's on an exchange basis, just a regular clutch allignment tool I used. I hope that helps, and thanks for watching and commenting if you haven't already hit that subscribe and have a great day 😀

    Hey, i’m about to do the same job to my 1.0 Turbo Astra K witht the B10 engine. Do you know if i have to take off the subframe as well? And which brand of clutch pump do you recommend? It started leaking so that is the reason im taking off the entire gearbox.

      hi, and thanks for watching and commenting if you haven't already hit that subscribe button, and have a great day. It's most probably the same suspension set up. This one, if memory serves me right, was a diesel. The clutch we fitted to this one we couldn't source aftermarket, so was genuine vauxhall part but it was made bye sachs had Sachs engraved or stamped on the drive plate the subframe was removed on this model

    Does subframe need dropping to get box out?

    • @cairney0037
      @cairney0037  3 месяца назад

      yea, I did remove the subframe on this model. There was no aftermarket clutch available at the time, but when it came from the vauxhall psa group, it was made by sachs hope that helps thanks for watching and commenting if you haven't already hit that subscribe button and have a great day
