This is an 'extra' video highlighting the Terraform's stereo sounds along with some other fun features. This one supplements my first demo which can be viewed at • Wampler: TERRAFORM
Wampler Pedals Terraform is an 11 algorithm (with extras) modulation pedal beautifully voiced and laid out for simplicity, tones and functionality. Five parameter knobs give you instant access to essential and deeper editing and you can save and recall 8 of your favourite presets. It's a fully stereo pedal if you want it be and you can also assign pre/post effects such as distortions or overdrives so that they're placed before or after any given effect. I love the Terraform's sounds and ease of use and it's great to see a highly functioning digital engine with analog-style control. 10/10, Mr Wampler!

that chorus is off the charts!
This man doing the lord's work.
This is an awesome pedal. I think it’s the best of 2019.
Excellent review! Why do I have so much trouble finding stereo reviews of guitar pedals that are fully stereo? This is the year 2021, not 1970, when I first heard stereo through headphones. There was no going back to mono.
Good evening..... I would like to know if in the stored presets it is possible to insert only one effect at a time or more effects... Thank you
Hey Brett. Thanks for the demo. Love the Terraform! But is it not possible to control more than one control knob with an expression pedal at the same time? I'm specifically thinking about the two rotor speeds for the rotary setting. Seems to me you can only pick one, while the other stays fixed. It's a shame I think, because you do change the speed of both rotors when you press the tap tempo switch. Hope I'm missing something - please let me know if it is possible to control both speeds at once with an expression pedal.
Kindly,
Mikkel
Mr. Jukebox of guitar :) I don't watch this around my guitar.
Anyway, I'll go back to playing Wonderwall
Was this session done with the factory presets ?
for my next purchase, I'm torn between the Terraform and the Boss MD-200. Thoughts?
2 years late but *this*
The MD is good tho. I just prefer this.
Sounds great! This or MD200?
This!!!!!
Disappointed that you missed out testing the wah algorithm with the expression pedal... I still can't find any answers as to whether or not that works.
Analog dry through?
Need to check one of these out in person. The effects sound like some of them catch the EQ change that some classic pedals have and a lot of digital stuff misses. Some of them sound "chewy". Might be way off, RUclips's hard to tell sometimes
Agreed, the MD500 sounded good until I got one. lol
It would be interesting to see what’s inside that box. Ultimately stomp boxes are probably becoming computers attached to A/D and D/A converters. I wonder when we will see the first stomp box with an ipad user interface over wifi.
Doesn't that already exist (Eventide H9 etc.)? But yes, on the inside they are all based on some analog input buffer/amp -> ADC -> DSP -> DAC -> analog output stage. It's all down to the algorithms now (e.g. GFI).
Yea, we're really close with TC Electronic and Source Audio paving the way. That's still proprietary tech in terms of the interface, but the wifi thing is probably just around the corner. It just makes me appreciate my old TS9, Ram's Head Big Muff, CE2 and Maxon AD-9 rig more and more...I get all this fancy-pants digital gear and, usually, it sits in the drawer collecting dust (until I flip it) while I play with my tried and true, my precioussss
Yeah H9 uses Bluetooth and is "older" now. Still kicks a$$ though. This guy's draw to me is how simple the interface is, just some knobs. Less knobs than my flanger has at that!
@@daveryan2148 What's the $ difference between this and an H9 (not the core, the standard model with algorithmic content! )
@@daveryan2148 Bloody hell what Flanger do you have? I'm trying to think of all the ones I know. .Aeroplane has a few knobs...maybe Empress, do they do q Flanger? I know their Tremolo and Phaser. And, of course, Echosystem. They're kinda knobby.:)
Thu my stereo speakers set 8 ft apart - the tremolo is making my cat run back and forth like crazy!!
Ha!!!! 😂
😂
Sounds great, but only 8 presets even with midi....
Can it be controlled via midi?
Ye..I think so
Matt Gilbert I’ve just checked. It can which is brilliant. If the price is reasonable, I’ll get one.
Oh no - this is so unfair.
One day it's an AXE-FX III - so I have to have that - now we have this thing - and of course - now I gotta have this as well.
Gorgeous - but so unfair.
Nice!! Weee! :)
Try to play single notes so we can her the ecco conf......
I keep calling it the Terraplane
