Thx for this video, very well put. I did my auto tuning through another source because this way the list doesn’t have KV constant for the mid-drive BBSHD. They should add the bbshd on their list.
Hello everyone. I am sort of new to the ebike world (3+yrs) and i love it. I am so glad i made the switch to the Grin phase runner. I have a bbshd, using a Hailong 52v jumbo shark battery pack, 42t eclipse chain ring and a 9sp rear cog 11-32. I want to get the best performance that my set-up can give me (especially top speed) without causing any damages to my parts. I need to learn the phase runner programming and what everything stands for. If someone can lead me towards the right direction i will be very grateful. Thx.
Even though I have connected everything, the software does not recognise the USB to Phaserunner Controller. Is there anything I can do to get it to connect?
I know! I wanted to listen and learnit but the loud music with the annoying beeping on top of really low quality video destroyed my nerves so I had to stop the video.
It will work just great, there is no need to reconfigure the BMS at all. In general it's difficult to pull more than about 50 battery amps from the Phaserunner given the 96A peak phase current limit.
Hi, i get the network error 201, i cant download latest defaults from grin website,Anybody knows the solution to this, i have let the app through the firewall
I know it's been almost a year, but to answer your question, fuck yeah! You'll have to bypass the internal controller (if it hasn't already blown) and add the appropriate wires on the motor side, but it will defo work.
Great stuff: dropped 3200 euros on this shit and pedals won't engage motor, throttle doesn't work. Great investment. GrinEU won't or can't fix it, GrinCA tells me to talk to GrinEU. Thanks guys, really fucking impressed. Guess it's going back under my EU rights.

Hi Albert. I'm having trouble setting my BBSHD. What source did you use as I don't know the Kv constant etc.

Excellent, thanks! In this simple way I could easily solve my issue with a new eZee motor which was not running...👍
Hey and glad to hear that. Any further issues and we're always there to help out via email of course.
Why the loud music so you can barley hear what you are saying?

Can you run a phase runner on an ariel rider kepler?
Can this be used on a battery with 60 amps continuous output by re configuring the BMS on the battery?

@@GrinTechnologies that's great news, thanks very much.

How does this work for Mac hub motors?
Exactly the same way. You just need to set the #pole pairs to 80
Does this work with the Bafang m620?
Does this with the Goldenmotor Magic Pie Motor?

Anybody else confused by the voltages? Specs say 24 OR 72 but also say 20 TO 90, can I not use on a 48v setup?
The specs should say 24 _TO_ 72. Those are the nominal voltages, and 20 TO 90 is the absolute voltage range. You can absolutely use this at 48V!!

that high pitch beeping sound is a bit annoying.
had to turn off the sound, turn on the subtitles in order to watch this.
Awwww - poor baby
It's impossible to understand anything he's saying with that damn music in the background
Cordless, brushless, drill press.
music is to loud
its nice but way too much money for a controller
More than you can -- or care to -- spend /= too much for the controller.
