Many thanks! I’m not new to nitro, but definitely new to a whole different world of it. Going from monster trucks to racing buggies, and from a two shoe clutch with only a spring around it to a 3, and sometimes 4 shoe had me a bit less confident in my abilities! Now I have a good foundation of the system. Great video!
Great video! Made me recognize how to do this again. I have a OFNA Ultra Worlds II I am recommissioning now with a new engine. Have not messed with my RCs in a long time. Back when I was messing with my RCs this is how we installed and removed clutch shoes as there were no "special" tools to do it but we just used a small flat blade screwdriver. Thank-you SIR it Helped MUCH!
Hi my clutch is completely destroyed I had a look at mine and it looks like the spring is damaged because when I take the clutch out it. It juts lifts up. Is it time for a new clutch
I've had the most luck finding most of these parts on ebay. There's quite a few clutch kits that will come with a new flywheel, springs and nut with the clutch pads all together. Hope that helps👍🏻
Quick question maybe you know the answer! I have a savage 4.6 big block. The wheels spin at idle and everything as far as setting on the carb look and sound correct. Do you know what the problem might be and how to fix it?? Thanks in advance!!!
Idle may be too high? Did you reuse the old springs? Try adjusting the idle down to see if the lower idle speed keeps the clutches in. Hope that helps.
Thank you for that , I've never replaced a three peice clutch but now i now how with your method, cheers mate 🇬🇧
This is the first video that actually shows how it works thanks for the detailed video

Does it die when it touches the floor
Yes
It dies only if I force it to stop. So I dont I just let run slow
Thank you!!
