Soldiers from C Company, 1st Battalion Scots Guards, recently visited the Gloster Hill War Memorial in South Korea as part of their deployment to the country for Exercise Imjin Warrior. The visit allowed them to learn about one of the most decisive battles of the Korean Warmore, the Battle of the Imjin River.

Scots Guards and other Guard regiments (Grenadier Guards, Coldstream Guards, Irish Guards and Welsh Guards) nationally recruit from all areas of UK. But despite the Scots Guards prefer recruits to be Scotsmen (Scotland) or those with Scottish antecedents (From remainder of the UK), they also accept Englishmen, Welshmen or Irishmen if these recruits want to join them.
So yes, some of them can be Englishmen with English accents - either with or without Scottish antecendents.
