    Thanks. The new gym that I am going to has a ski erg. I set it at the same setting as the rower. I appreciate all of your videos. Thank you so much.

    Dang it, I couldn't resist purchasing a SkiErg after this video (and some of your others). Just came in, completed setup today, and did my very first workout starting with this drill.
    Ok, that was tiring. Took a break then foolishly thought, "Gee, why don't I try a 2K?"
    500 meters in on this thing...I have never looked more forward to getting on the Rowing Erg. What a beast! I better bust out the old McEnroe wear for sure.

    Shane is there a way you could post more skierg workouts? I have access to a concept2 skierg machine as well as a concept2 rowing machine and I do want to use them together. The problem is on DH website they don’t no longer offer it and won’t give me access to previous ones done even when I want to pay for it by joining.,As you aforementioned together they are a nasty full body workout! Thank you John

    Shane, I have a question! After doing a few intervals (like 150m) on SkiErg, my calves starts to hurt, tighten. Why? How can I prevent that? Thanks!

    Hello. Is Skierg good machine to help fix anterior pelvic tilt? Maybe rower would be better? Or maybe both are good?

      If you have an aggressive anterior pelvic tilt then the SkiErg may be a good choice as you would working into more of a posterior tilt/hollow vertical position but it's impossible to know exactly sight unseen.

    Skierg vs rower.....Which do you think is a better option for someone with a previous slipped disc?

      I would say the SkiErg would be easier on the lower back than the Rower. The resistance is in the crunch on the SkiErg, then the only resistance in the lower back is from your own bodyweight as you stand up straight again. On the Rower, you lean back and you have resistance from the rower as you lean backwards at the end of the stroke, so it's not just body weight resistance only. You can though, take out the backwards lean on the Rower stroke to reduce the resistance in your lower back. Hope this helps.
