Becoming OBSESSED with EL ESTEPARIO SIBERIANO?!?!? - Видеоклипы
Not surprised that you're OBSESSED with El Estepario. His drumming is not only out of this and every other world, he's also so entertaining while he is drumming.
He has stellar stage presence and charisma, that's for sure!
Funny AF too lol
This is a warm up exercise. I’ve been drumming for 20 years and can play the feet section, and the hand section.. but you try and put them all together and my brain breaks haha. You mentioned about what he must be thinking.. he’s not. That’s why his face is blank. It’s all muscle memory. You learn each part until it’s natural, then slowly work them in together. All muscle memory. The minute you think about it is the minute you fuck it up
well... he's autistic and he's got his own kind of understanding and playing different parts. ofc he practices a lot but he just thinks diff. he doesn't know how to read music, he just understands it in his own way.
@@cristianbaias74 Where did you get the autistic part from?
Did he ever say he is Autistic? He is just really good man, some people are just really good like Steve Vai he plays that bass, guitar harp Ctar thing or the 3 neck guitar
@@cristianbaias74you need to answer where you’re getting that he is autistic from. Talking straight out your ass?
@@cristianbaias74what? Nothing you said here is accurate lol. Guy practices 8 hours a day minimum for years and years.
His cover of The Weekend's Blinding Lights is actually INSANE!!! Great reaction.
Estepario is a nutty combo of talent and hard work. The ideal drummer.
This kid ( just turned 26 a few weeks ago) makes me wish I could still play. Love him and what he’s bringing to the world of percussion and music 🤘🏻🙏🏻💥🔥
NGL I wasn't impressed with when he was doing the 3:4 Polyrhythm but as soon as he did the 3:4:12 Polyrhythm I was like how the fuck and then flexes even more with a 3:4:6:12 Polyrhythm. The control you need to do that emotionless is amazingly talented. Mad respect ♥️♥️
You have to watch his one handed content where he plays incredibly hard songs, that are very difficult for people with 2 hands.
The guy is naturally talented and he practices A LOT. Hard work for sure!
8h per day of practise
He's NOT talented - by his own words. Check his video about how he sucked 10 years ago
My top 2 drummers out of maybe 150 I know is El Estepario Siberiano and Luke Holland. 🤘 thanks for the reaction!!! 🙏
He uploaded a hot for teacher cover yesterday. You gotta watch it.
Also to answer your question, synchopating different tempos has a very interesting feel in your brain. Once you get used to carrying 2 different tempos at the same time, it will feel as if the muscle control of your arms and legs is being isolated to a "slave-brain" in your limbs. Your brain is free to think of the measure that comes after what you are currently playing while the limbs take control of the synchopation. Its honeatly a really cool feeling.
Every cover from him is awesome, masterpiece
Being a drummer for years and watching his content is fun because I can see how it's not impossible but I can still appreciate the skill and practice this dude has done to be able to do what he does. And as far as how we do drums. It's almost instinctual.
You have sooooo much to dig into. I recommend basically all his one-handed stuff.
I think talent is the base, and the long, countless hours practicing is what we're seeing the fruits of. I don't believe he could possibly be this good without the talent.
I could spend every waking moment on the drums and never get on this guy's level.
That is a good comment on the whole "talented vs talent is bullshit" to be said publicly on a bigger channel. Exactly what I thought. As an amateur drummer with 10 years of being in a band in the past I would say the 16 years old El Estepario, who was drumming "as a hobby", was already better than I ever was after 10 years of hobby-like drumming.
This was a really fun reaction. Loved your comments and thanks for the extrapolation on talent v hardwork. This is a topic that El Estepario is very passionate about. More please!
His A7X covers are so good
As a non-drummer (I can wing it if forced to) I appreciate the diagram he put on the screen. I've been classically trained since I was 4, and know what's happening, but it still takes so many years of practice to know what to do with your body. I THINK I could do it after a few weeks of practice? But the fact that he made this content means he put in the work and already knows how to do this. Such a good video.
"I'm so eager to jump back into this f*cking dude!..." ME: Phrasing! 😂😂😂
We need a compilation video of you reacting to all his stuff for real. He just did Blinding Lights by The Weekend and will absolutely blow your mind 🤯🤯
He is from Spain, quite different from Italy. In fact, Spain is a very diverse country, he is from Valencia, a city in Spain on the Mediterranean coast. Europe.
This dude is absolutely amazing!!!! He's epically skilled and talented, and all you can say is wow!!
“But I have been so eager to jump back into this dude…” 😅😂😂
This guy has found a way to make a 6 minute reaction video to A. SINGLE. SHORT. Now THAT'S talent
It's not talent it is hard work. We couldn't make a 6 minute reaction to a short. He has been practicing for years, calling it a talent deminishes his hard work. 😂😂😂
Maybe he should make his own content, rather than piggybacking another guys channel.
@@johnnycamrose8563 don't like it? Don't watch it. Solved
i cant play some "easy" piano songs because the rhythms get confusing between both hands, cant even fathom doing this xD his talent and effort is undeniable
I try not to think of it as he's playing 4 different tempos, I see it as a pattern. Just keep adding to it and it makes sense. It's how I write drum parts.
Some say drummers have 4 brains, one for each limb... This guy has at least 8 brains. Each limb does double time.
I can do the 3 over 4, I learned it in only a few weeks, but the subdivisions are actually insane, this is mind blowing... :O
I would love to see you react to one of his full length videos. The bongo song or in the end, perhaps.
He is a very clever man, funny, very very polite guy and he´s practicing 8-9 hours every single day. And plays with his band and make a lot of videos for YT, and he is from Valencia Spain.... yes he is god . Also Alex is .
What's hilarious is every time that third Tempo kicks in.... each time you replayed it.... your face goes completely blank like your brain just melted
it happens quickly.this guy is just 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Dude.. I have one question! Can you have an interview with “ el estepario”? I love the way he’s drumming but I love your channel too. I think I’ll appreciate if you will bring to your channel and you can ask all those questions…
I admire this drummer, he is a profesional 😎
Alex, you always crack me up! 😂😂
Can you choose a video where he plays a song? Some of the videos are his take on the song. Really good. Glad your enjoying him 😀
Polyrhythms He is doing 2 of them at the same time. Best one to start with is quarters along with triplets to get an idea. He's not paying attention to the visuals, polyrhythms are all about feeling.
You always amazes me whenever you're giving reactions to what you're reacting at man...
Gooooooood.....
Dig deeeeeeper.....
Bro I have been watching Alex react to stuff for years and watching him react to El Estepario is some of the best. Keep it up bro.
Alex: "He has so much content" then proceeds to get hung up on just one video.
There’s a video of his day, dedication and talent is what makes this guy so special ❤😊
complete limb independence.. from what i understand its a vital skill for many drummers..
theres a lot of practice that goes into taking a natural skill and developing it into making the impossibly absurd almost look easy.. but from everything Ive been reading about him, he HAS put in the work to make this second nature
3 over 4 is not that complicated. Many musicians can do that. But all his other videos show the high skill he has.
Damn. He's coordinated.
He makes everything look so easy. Sometimes it is, other times…. 🤯
Dude you made me laugh so bad by your reaction
dude he is INCREDIBLE!!!
Not sure if it was said, but he’s actually playing the same tempo on all 4 limbs. What he’s playing are called polyrhythms. It’s different time signatures at the same time. If you watch the little diagram, all the dots match up at the top at the same time meaning the time signatures synch up even though it sounds like he’s playing random things on all limbs. It requires so much practice. Dude is amazing and grinds hard for sure.
Also, it becomes muscle memory with enough practice so you don’t have to think about it so much.
So glad you're well on your way down the El Rabbit hole.
So Samus has a whole compilation of him in a reaction video, you could ask them for reacting with him on his reaction video, that would be a large video though. Great reaction as always Alex! Cheers
He thinking in what groceries he needs while doing those crazy shuts
Watch his Blinded in Chains cover. Unreal
Also more Gorillaz please!
he is the Stevie Ray Vaughn of drums.. i told him i practiced for a little bit and now have no problem keeping up... yup my left foot can keep the beat nooooo problem..hay you gotta start somewhere tomorrow ill try the right foot
I'm laughing so hard when watching your videos XD You are awsome man!!! I just punched the sub button and the bell :D
welcome to the channel my man!
Amazing skills with the ability to apply changing tempos and techniques on the fly independently on all four limbs. Simple.
What is his brain thinking while beating out 4 different tempo's at once .... " I have to remember to put coffee on my grocery list"
Another person that I have this same reaction to (maybe more so because I'm a bassist) is Charles Bearthoud here on youtube. His music is fantastic and his skill is amazing.
You should REALLY look into his Blinding Lights cover. That shows his playing ability ALOT more than this little shorts.
1:26 he did the mic drop drummer style!
Watching him as a drummer is even worse, because you know exactly how easy he does everything you struggle with
Bro send him those drum sticks they look awesome.
Yes he is a kick ass dude... and we all want to be friends with him. But he's way too cool for all of us
I don't think he has to think about what to do next. He just does it, the key is training, training, training......
The moment he starts thinking about what to do next, is the moment he loses.
Btw, he uploaded a video in which he talks about how he became who he is now. Worth a listen/watch.
Love your reaction, I'm hooked on this stuff!
Also the band The Warning!! Don't tell me nobody has suggested that you check these 3 girls out yet.....
He plays drums better than I breathe.
You should do a video of you just binge watching his yt shorts. That'd be a banger video🔥
Fantastic 👏👍 Thank you for sharing. I'm obsessed... 😅
i agree with your talent-take.
Not every one was built and could be everything they wanted.
Some, even with lots of passion and practice, could never be great at it.
They could be good but not great.
The guy has become probably the goat in the rhe space of 2 years lol
That first polyrythm isn't all that difficult, but it definitely looks cool.
He has said that to be a drummer you need to have 8 brains. He is really cool.
Highly recommend to check out his one handed drumming videos (or compilation).
1:00 you revealed your true identity as Andy Dick.😂
2:38 second pict
What is that shit?!?!?!??!?!😂
Sorry for my bad english alex😅
I just love to see your reaction video 😂
No wonder you're obsessed, welcome to the club. Check his full video covers, you'll be amazed by this genius.
Alex....you are not alone. Im just like...Oo...a new video.....where is my popcorn. Listen and getting my mind BLOWN AWAY!!!!!!!
Hahaha these are hilarious 😂😂😂
Watch him do "Blinding Lights" cover that one is just amazing.
This reminds a lot of Mike Mangini's warm up stuff
It's like watching a skilled martial artist on a trap set....
Obesessed? Hell yeah
He has a video that is a collection of his 1 handed work. Also he just dropped a full cover of Blinding Lights you need to check out
Must watch his one hand 🥁 covers
JEFF was HERE 🏆
You graduated from Beats to HD650, same as me, was a somersault leap, HD650 the best sound ever
Put down drumsticks take 3 steps back and bow, kiss his ring to the godfather of the drums
I’ve pondered long and hard about what talent is and where it comes from. I’ve decided that most of us are bourn with the potential to achieve awesomeness, I really do. I think it’s our environment, right from the beginning. Inside the womb is where the potential starts proper. What your mother eats and drinks, is she happily living in a loving home? Surrounded by music and rhythmic movement? What happens to your brain during those formative years?
Free will? Nope; no such thing as original thought. All ideas are a further development from one that already exists. Talent is dedication + time. And understand what dedication is; it’s a soup of things - passion, opportunity, discipline, luck, overcoming misfortune. If you keep pushing, no matter what, who knows what we’re capable of?
Just don’t leave it too late. It gets much harder as you age. ❤
do his blinding lights cover its great.
He’s literally crazier than David goggins
He isn't thinking.
it's 3/4 tempo the red one show the kick / bass drum.... that sets the basic
Bro I can't even play guitar and tap my foot in tempo with what I'm playing lmao
That hurt my brain.
I feel like we could start a movement to get him in a brain scan while he plays something to see his brain 🤯
THE WORD I THINK YOU'RE LOOKING FOR IS PROTEGEE. I'M MESMERIZED WATCHING HIM PLAY. STILL HAVE MY SET BUT HAVEN'T PLAYED IN YEARS... MAYBE SOME DAY. 64 NOW LOL
He is just amazing i dont have in English other word
stop with the shorts. his full length covers are absolutely insane.
you should take 5-10 shorts per reaction
I get it, he is octopus! He control each limb individualy. Each of his limbs have a brain of his own!
