Ahahahaha, how wonderful it is to follow(loosely) your creative journey. I look forward to seeing this project become. It's kinda like giving birth,🤣, but with your brain... Marion, I was thinking the whole time, where's she going with this?, and was so engrossed in what you would do next, I couldn't look away. It is "joyful" to create, and you are a treasure. Thank you for sharing.
Yes, yes, yes, and yes some more and yes again. Marion this is yours. Absolutely yes. Being lead by yourself, original, unique, one of a kind. Marion this is yours keep going and feeling your way. Beautiful. Ms. Lady. I feel you are feeling this deep inside yourself.
Wow..thank you for such positive support! I definitely felt that I couldn't have waited any longer to start making it. I think I'm just helping the fabric and thread be what it wants to be...🤔
I really enjoy your videos. when I watch I feel like I am visiting you. Many times I make a cup of tea and pick some stitching of my own and just act as though we are together sewing. 💖💖

What can I say except what an inspiring and one-of- a- kind creator you are Marion. To know you just had to pick up your needle and go with where it would take you is not unlike being on the hero's journey. I know I am very glad you answered the call - it is mesmerizing to watch and listen as you wend your way along the silk + wool road. I was stitching, finishing a creation of my own for the duration of your video, very much making it up as I went along. Lay any concerns to rest that your listeners may be bored or think anything other than WOW - this Marion is something special. Thoroughly and sincerely love your work and thank you so much.
I love the Fabric Vessel Marion. This has brought me back to my childhood when I used to sew similar things. I wanted to take it out of your hands and start sewing it myself. You are so Creative. Please show more of this. 🥰
This was super interesting I have made skirts this way by folding over little pleated creases and sewing them in place just like you did : ) I love that look! then I just added all kinds of stitches and folded lace roses and beads along the hem ended up a diamond shaped forest garden skirt I lined with some recycled wool was my fav winter item for years!
I am 20 minutes into the video, and I must say that I have been dreaming about making a slow stitched vase, but not knowing where of how to start! I can’t be more excited to see that you’re creating a much anticipated project. AND…….in the colors that I favor as well. I love stitching, especially slow random go where they may needle work. To then be able to produce a functional one of a kind piece of art is truly magical! I love your imagination, skill, and gracious inspiration. Thank you Marion!

Truly surprised with what you are making with your lovely silk and lichen moss log. It’s as if you are making your own display cabinet. I can see it’s going to turn into another Marion masterpiece. I think you have taken us to another level with how you can use textiles. So many people are enjoying being in Marion’s world, you present everything in a interesting and friendly way and inspire us to relax and get stitching. Thank you
My Dearest Marion-you are an absolute lovely treasure!! I LOVED this video, seeing your thought process as you worked out what you wanted, your fierce bravery in picking up the needle, cutting fabric and starting stitching, your calm, soft voice describing the journey. I so admire your creativity-I myself have to create but am sometimes stiffled and crippled in the "starting". You are an inspiration to me. Also, you are creating an embellished "organic fabric vessel". I can't wait for part 2!! BTW, I love wood and rocks and that is one amazing piece of bark!!! It deserves to hold the spotlight on your vessel.
Thank you very much for your message. I kept thinking no-one would like what I was trying to do... I thought it was important to show the process and hopefully that would help someone find their way too. 💐

This is mesmerizing, Marion. Your inspiration is beautifully enhanced with your choices of fabric and threads. I really can't wait to see you carry on - innovating all the way. You are a treasure!
I just love this fabric. I never see fabric like that here in the states in a thrift shop. A wonderful green color too, it looks marvelous with the wood piece. It will make a wonderful vessel. I love the waves you have created for the veins. It is coming along great. Thank you for sharing your process on this vessel.
I was lucky to find it...it was definitely the colour that attracted me first, then immediately I had my hands on it I knew I'd found the fabric to go with the bark!
It looks like a bag of some sort a wizard would carry along on journeys, to put potions and magic things in it. I love how the fabric shines with all different tones from the twists and folds, gorgeous, and when the embellishments are all on it will be a great gem on the mantelpiece..

Your vessel is already so fantastic! I really enjoyed seeing how you created the ripples in the silk and am intrigued by how you're going to manage (and you will) to embed that bark in your creation.
I too am really enjoying your creative journey. You liberate the creativity in any one who watches Marion’s World with an open heart and mind. So wonderful to work with the organic process. Thank you 🙏🏼
This is fascinating Marion, I am looking forward to watching part two in a minute. The way you are forming that green silk is like watching a sculptor at work. I also had a strange desire to wear it, so if you could just knock me up a beautiful woodland ball gown in the same style, when you have finished your vessel that would be lovely. 😉 It has a Midsummer Night's Dreamlike quality to it. ❤
I'm so pleased you enjoyed it Kathryn! I wasn't sure what it was going to turn out like when I started. I just knew I had to get thread in my needle and make a start! I didn't think I'd have so many lovely messages about it either 🪡🧵
I saw at least one person comment that you are an artist and your work should be exhibited and I agree wholeheartedly with the sentiment, if it's something that you think you would enjoy. I have watched part two and the way you respond to the materials is just wonderful to watch. ❤️
I love it Marion. The silk is the perfect fabric to use alongside the bark, a really good contrast of textures. Stunning colour too. You are so imaginative. Very much looking forward to seeing how it develops.
This is so interesting Marion! I love how the silk fabric reflects the light and shows up all the stitching to perfection. I can’t wait to see where you go with this next time. And I’m intrigued about what you are crocheting with the twine. Thank you for sharing your process! 😊

Thank you Marion for your video and company today. This is so helpful listening to your thought process, I feel as if I am sitting with you over a cup of tea and stitching. Fantastic Marion, I love it, it reminds me of one of those giant plants that have the cup like shape and the have a sweet nectar in them to attract insects and birds, don't know the name them. Awesome display it will be for your treasured bit of wood. Huge Hugs xx
I've loved your interpretation of a vase/object with the bark. What a wonderful piece of bark. Do hope the painted orange fabric will be a feature also. Tha dark green silk fabric is very well manipulated. Have so enjoyed this video. Well done. Another wonderful lesson for me to try to achieve something in this way.
I did enjoy it. Marion. It was an amorphous thing which became other amorphous things. I saw a fairy gown and a lovely boho purse. I saw the Green Man. I saw something from the Little Shop of Horrors. We shall see. 🌿

Stunning textile art tree trunk....that piece of trunk is telling you how it wants to look...if you drill the joining hole in the top rather than the back it would work better if you want to inbed it into the cloth....enjoy the process.......have no idea where you're going with the rope crochet but I'm here for it.......
Marion that was wonderful.. I loved it all. It is going to be a work of art for sure. You are an artist and I am glad you are where we can see you work
Love watching your process, Marion. You are amazing; I truly think that every single time I watch your videos. Thank you for sharing with us and inspiring us. xo
I love how you sew and create on the fly! What a talent you have, the inside of your brain must be whizzing and whirring away! Copying and following a pattern is a skill, but doing what you do is pure talent!
Marion, your creativity is incredible. When watching this episode, all the while, my fingers were just itching to touch that beautiful fabric with all your stitching. I've been following along with your stitch journal, too, and on each page I've thought I could never do the stitching, but your encouragement has led me to try new things. I often go back to the fungus page and though mine is not as lovely as yours it just makes me proud to have even tried it. Thank you so much for sharing your brilliance. You are a blessing.
Love love it… ❤️❤️ green is one of my favourite Color and this is perfect… I also keep pieces of bark… now I have a wonderful inspiration.. thanks so much ! Hugs 🇨🇦
You’re so creative and it’s such a treat and inspiration to watch you. I can’t wait to see how you embed that wood into the vessel. It reminds me a bit of watching you do the owls in the tree (one of my favorites).
Bark, stitch thingy is absolutely a piece of beauty from a very creative artist. Love your videos. From across the pond until next time. So looking forward to seeing you again 🫖☕️
Your stitching has showcased the variation of color in the silk. Look forward to seeing how this turns out. I can understand how you couldn’t burn that bark…lovely colors.

How wonderful and what a fabulous imagination you have Marion, it’s going to be lovely 🥰
☺️👍
I am totally intrigued by this project Marion…looking forward to part 2.😊
It's coming on Sunday 😊🧵🪡
Fantastic Marion, I love it, it reminds me of one of those giant plants that have the cup like shape and the have a sweet nectar in them to attract insects and birds, don't know the name them.
Awesome display it will be for your treasured bit of wood. Huge Hugs xx
A pitcher plant... Yes it does look like that, although I wasn't really thinking of that at the time 😅
I love this project so much, brilliant Marion!
You made me laugh out loud saying “stupid stuff”. You have a grand sense of humor I enjoyed watching
Me too! Love her!!!
😂🧵🪡
I've loved your interpretation of a vase/object with the bark. What a wonderful piece of bark. Do hope the painted orange fabric will be a feature also. Tha dark green silk fabric is very well manipulated. Have so enjoyed this video. Well done. Another wonderful lesson for me to try to achieve something in this way.
There is a playlist of all the episodes of how I made this. You'll find it listed on my channel homepage. Thank you for watching..
All your videos are tutorials in some way or at least they are super - inspiring! Love the idea and the way you are shaping your idea, thank you!🍀💖
💐🧵🪡
and definitly NOT boring!
😅
I did enjoy it. Marion. It was an amorphous thing which became other amorphous things. I saw a fairy gown and a lovely boho purse. I saw the Green Man. I saw something from the Little Shop of Horrors. We shall see. 🌿
😅 you summed it up about right Mara.
I hope you like how it all ended up 🤞
@@marionsworld24 I didn’t see the end yet. I’m catching up with the episodes I missed, so I will eventually. 😊

Part 2 is already scheduled for next Sunday! But it still didn't get finished....
Well worth watching. Loved watching it come together so beautifully, excited for pt 2😊😊
Stunning textile art tree trunk....that piece of trunk is telling you how it wants to look...if you drill the joining hole in the top rather than the back it would work better if you want to inbed it into the cloth....enjoy the process.......have no idea where you're going with the rope crochet but I'm here for it.......
Thank you.. I'm not quite at that stage yet... all ideas will be working around in my brain 😊
Hi Marion, the orange stuff you painted is Mulberry Bark it has many uses in crafts and artistic purposes. Loving your work and your approach.
I'd heard of mulberry, but didn't really know what it was... Thank you for telling me 👍

I am so enjoying this process, it’s fascinating and inspirational. Can’t wait for the next part.
I love how you sew and create on the fly! What a talent you have, the inside of your brain must be whizzing and whirring away! Copying and following a pattern is a skill, but doing what you do is pure talent!
💐💐💐
Not a tiny bit boring. So inspiring!
Thanks!
Thanks so much Anne 💐
Marion, your creativity is incredible. When watching this episode, all the while, my fingers were just itching to touch that beautiful fabric with all your stitching. I've been following along with your stitch journal, too, and on each page I've thought I could never do the stitching, but your encouragement has led me to try new things. I often go back to the fungus page and though mine is not as lovely as yours it just makes me proud to have even tried it. Thank you so much for sharing your brilliance. You are a blessing.
I'm so happy you've tried it all.... You'll be getting more practice and experience all the time until you'll be able to make whatever you want to....
That's an idea to maybe revisit...🤔
Really fascinated by your thought processes as you allow the materials to speak to you. Fabulous experiment; can’t wait to see what happens next! 😊😊
Part 2 on Sunday 😊

Bark, stitch thingy is absolutely a piece of beauty from a very creative artist. Love your videos. From across the pond until next time. So looking forward to seeing you again 🫖☕️
I'm glad you like it Mary 😊
Amazing! cant wait for next episode. Looks great x
Your stitching has showcased the variation of color in the silk. Look forward to seeing how this turns out. I can understand how you couldn’t burn that bark…lovely colors.
I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that it ends up working out...🤞
I absolutely enjoyed this video Marion and I’ll be watching it again.
There are no failures; just lessons. I'm confident that you will make something of this even if it is not exactly as you first imagined. If nothing else, you have inspired us all with your adventurous creativity. Ok... now back to the video...
😅
